Christmas is a busy time for everyone...
Working 6 days straight over the holidays was tough! But making the time to take care of myself and fuel up with plant based goodness everyday was the only thing helping me survive this week!

IRON... an important element in the oxygen carrying haemaglobin within red blood cells, good sleep and memory.
More than 500 million people across the world are said to have iron deficiency!
We need 7-11mg a day, but only 25% of the iron we eat is absorbed.
Factors such as anaemia, pregnancy, breast feeding, exercise, and even tea, coffee and sugar mean we need even more!
Without adequate iron levels you may begin to feel short of breath, tired, foggy, confusion, skin acne muscle aches and anaemia.

How I feel right about now...
.. After a 130hr working fortnight, it is safe to say I am knackered !!!
Good to know no matter how far I push my body with lack of sleep, late nights, early starts and a less than ideal diet... I am getting the goodness and nutrients my body needs to keep on going.

Sometimes we are so far from where we want to be, that we use that as an excuse to not let ourselves even try.
