Heading home after a wild week! First the Punta Mita Festival Internacional de Jazz - what an experience! Thanks to Blake Irving and Brian Bromberg for having us. Super nice to spend some leisure time with Mike and Dani. Really, this part deserves its own post, but I’m too tired 🥱
Then to Hampton, VA for the Jazz Legacy Foundation Gala Weekend, where we rocked the house with JJ Sansaverino and Art Sherrod Jr. Fun hang with old and new friends, especially Hap Carpenter and Chuck Campbell. Thanks to Alvin Keels for including us in this year’s lineup!

Fantastic shows this past weekend! Two very different live experiences - Saturday night in a cool, intimate club setting, and Saturday afternoon in a beautiful amphitheater in front of a few thousand people. Both super fun in their own way! Thanks to the two great bands who backed us up. (The first pic was during sound check - the club was not empty for the show 😂)
