L’été tire à sa fin, mais soyez rassurés.. J’ai encore tout plein de DJs et d’artistes à vous faire découvrir. Le Village au Pied-du-Courant et Les Jardineries demeurent ouverts tout le mois de septembre. C’est fou de penser que j’ai peut-être coordonné la plus grande programmation au Québec cet été à cause de la Covid. Je suis tellement reconnaissante pour La Pépinière I Espaces Collectifs qui m’a permis de faire ce que j’aime, même dans un contexte aussi particulier. Vive la musique, la culture et les échanges humains! ✊

When my whole newsfeed turned black I questioned the purpose of this whole blackout. [Why black-OUT, and not black-UP?] I find it very strange that the same record labels that have been promoting violence, death, drugs and degradation of women are telling us to stop streaming or release music for a day. Shouldn’t we just listen to conscious music for at least a week instead? As a big fan, I’m really thankful for what it has teached me over the years. I would like to share some of my favorite songs with meaningful lyrics. I made a Spotify playlist about black liberation, police brutality and mostly just big revolutionary energy. I hope it will at least inspire one of my brother or sister, just like it did for me.✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻 Word Sound Power.
