Our inspiration today was a mix of man and machine, a force of incredible precision and accuracy. Our inspiration once again is The Machine himself, Aaron Tindall! What else is there to say that his picture doesn't say itself? Be inspired, or else!

An incredible, inspirational inspiration coming in a few hours. Stay tuned, it's going to be one of the best yet!

Now for a more serious, somber inspiration. The past few days have seen the loss of some great musicians such as Van Cliburn and just today, William Bennett. Bennett was an incredible oboist who served as principal in the San Fransico Symphony for over 2 decades. This weekend while performing a concerto in Davies Symphony Hall, he suffered a brain hemorrhage that led to his untimely loss. Our sympathies and thoughts go out not only to his family, but also to those all over the world who were influenced by his incredible musicianship and talent. To him and all of the other greats we have lost recently, your memories will serve as inspiration to us for years to come. Thank you.

Happy birthday to one of our favorite inspirations ever! Tucson loves you Steve...with or with out your childhood hairdo!

Our inspiration today came from a good friend and great harpist, Rebecca Arden! She is in Denton auditioning at UNT but she can still inspire us from afar! She also saves money on flights seeing as she does it on her own...our very own harp angel! Have fun Becky! Also, who is that child? He must have been drawn in by the angelic sounds of those glissandi!

Today, we were inspired by our very own sweet Georgia peach, Justin Rifkind! He is leaving us soon to go on tour with Las Tubas de Tucson and we sure are gonna miss that sweet mug. Hopefully his extra fancy peachiness will bring joy and happiness to the children of the world. Look at that face, thats the face of an angel. Safe travels Peaches!

Our inspiration yesterday was one of our own, ladies and gentlemen, thanks to Hillary Engel, we have new folders! Sometimes, the little things in life are the most inspirational!

Tonight we were revisited by a few friends from the past. Both Beyonce and Lenny came to our performance and let us know how we were doing. Don't trust her face, Beyonce loved it...She liked it so much she had to put a ring on it! The rest of Destiny's Child also were there but Beyonce made them stand in the back...The fantastic Leonard Bernstein was so pleased, he didn't yell at us even once! He saved that for Jose Carreras. Get it tubas and euphoniums!

Sorry for the lack of post last week, power went out again thanks to B...yeah, we can call her B. Anyway, in preparation for our performance tonight, the Master himself came. Say hello to Lenny in all his glory! Concert at 7:30 in Crowder if you can make it!

Sorry for the late posting of Tuesday's inspiration. As you may know, Beyonce has been causing rolling blackouts throughout the country recently so we lost power for a while. She sure inspired us though... Alex was whipping his hair all over the place during West Side Story!

All inspiration all the time! On Thursday we were inspired to keep ourselves fit both musical mind and body! Ja'tik Clark inspired Matt to pump some brass and get worked out for his performance tonight at the President's Concert! It'll be streamed on the studio uStream page if you can catch it. He will be performing Symphonic Variants with the Arizona Symphony! Get it Matt!

Liquid inspiration is still inspiration! Our inspiration today is an old friend and always offers the best advice in our efforts toward greatness. Thanks Steve! See you in a few months when we get to be inspired in person!

Our inspiration today was another two-parter! On the one hand, look at the awesome hairdo on Aresnio Hall! We are playing older music and nothing says a throwback in time like that haircut. Our musical inspiration was none other than the ORIGINAL Sexy Sax Man, President Bill Clinton! How could anyone not be inspired by those sunglasses and sheer awesomeness! A huge thanks to Stacey Garcia for sharing her inspiration with us...I hear she always keeps some 90s talk show host on her stand as inspiration. We're just glad she shared...also, welcome back to Tucson!

If you have an inspiration you would like to share with us, let us know! Maybe your inspiration will be our inspiration and then the whole world will have no choice but to be a better place. That's right ladies and gentlemen, tubas and euphoniums making a better world. You heard it here first!
