Cambridge sidewalk poet Molly Watt kicked off our first session with the kind and thoughtful young men from the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program (Cambridge) who left us believing that our future is in capable hands. 💫🌟🤩
Day 2 at where we read “Paint Me Like I Am” by V. Chin and “A Girl Named Jack” by J. Woodson. We painted and wrote, and several brave souls read their impressive work to the large group. And yes, we had cookies and there was just the right amount of goofing around! 🙃
Day 1 of Partners in Rhyme at Willis Dmooreyouthcenter in Cambridge. We wrote poems in newly decorated journals, ate cookies together, and goofed around 🙃. More summer fun to come! 🌞🍪🖋📕

Partners in Rhyme, an intergenerational poetry program, is looking for adults over 60 from Cambridge to join its summer program. Get to know local teens from the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program as you explore poetry in a fun and approachable way.

New interactive exhibits at the recently-renovated Emily Dickinson Museum nicely bring her work to life! I was relieved that she was portrayed as the joyful, young woman she was and not only as a homebody. The Apple TV series "Dickinson" has increased visitor numbers.
