My fitness class is dedicating all of our days this week to one of our own. She went from moving her body everyday, to major surgery for a broken hip after a fall to not being able to move.

Wise words today...if you have your health, you’re a millionnaire!

I am grateful that I got up this morning (even though I could have slept in today). I need these simple reminders and these amazing workouts!

🏃‍♀️ 🚴 🏊‍♀️ Here we go...I said it back in September but I am saying it again, my goal this year is to do a triathlon!!

It’s something I have never done and the biking is definitely out of my comfort zone...but the “training” starts now. Getting my body ready for some intensity come the new year!

Woke up feeling good this morning 🙂, ready for the workout...now I need a shower!! Another great feel good, pump you up, workout with !

Some morning are easier to get up than others. Today was easy. I was asleep early last night and had no worries when I went to bed.

Feeling great about today!

We were remind in our Fitness class today, to be thankful for each day we live, because life can be snatched away at any point, healthy or not.

Here at ZYIA Active we are very aware of the importance of making sure that any factory we work with asides to the strictest rules and regulations in terms of environmental safety as well as the working conditions of the employees of these factories. We have a team that personally visits each of the factories we work with at different times during the year to ensure that they continue to work within these strict regulations. The factories we use all have certificates to ensure that they are adhering to these regulations. There are a number of different certificates that we require of our factories, but these are a few of the most important requirements:

-OEKO-TEX Standard 100
-DAS Certification
-BSCI

In additional to this, we are constantly looking for different ways to use sustainable materials, such as bamboo, in the apparel that we produce. A number of our pieces currently use sustainable fabrics and our promise as a company is to continue to improve in this area more and more as we move forward.

We share with each and every one of you the goal to continually help our environment and want you to know that we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that goal is always a priority within ZYIA Active.

I hate waking up early...I love my sleep, and I sleep pretty good. So when my alarm goes off at 5:15 for a workout, I cringe and struggle to get out of bed.

However, after the workout and all through the day I know I am going to feel great, because I did the work and got my body moving ...its starts the day off with a positive note!

How do your days start?
