We might be newbies to Brisbane, but we have it on good authority that the Ekka is a loved staple on the calendar.
To celebrate, we’ve created a danish inspired by the famous Ekka strawberry sundae!
Filled with a house made fromage blanc, topped with fresh Queensland strawberries, and finished with a strawberry glaze. Swipe right for a look at the guts!!
Starting today, there will be a limited number of these beauties available every day for the rest of August.

August's savoury offering is a middle eastern inspired affair, and a nod to 's all time favourite Melbourne breakfast.
This twisty Lune pastry is generously dusted with za'atar and spiked with pockets of smoky eggplant purée and goats cheese cream.
And I'm just stoked that we legit got to use an eggplant emoji in a post!!

Talk about going from one extreme to the other in one day… the high of opening a new Lune in Brisbane, to yet another Melbourne lockdown. Well here we are again.
If you order for the 9am slot your order will be delivered some time between 9am and 12pm. If you order for the 12pm slot your order will be delivered some time between 12pm and 3pm. You will be notified via text when your order is close by.

The day has finally come.
Brisbane, are you ready for Lune? Because we are ready for you!! And it all starts tomorrow!!!
As we are in the midst of a lockdown, we’ve activated take away service mode, and will be operating with a stringent covid-safe plan. Please remember to wear your mask if you plan to come down, and maintain your 1.5m distance.
We will have a selection of the classics available;
- Traditional croissants
- Pain au chocolat
- Kouign amann
- Lemon curd cruffin
- Almond croissant
- Coconut rough (twice baked pain au chocolat)
- Ham & gruyere
- Cheese & vegemite escargot
We will be open from 7:30am, and you can find us at 15 Manning St, South Brisbane… use google or just follow your nose, the scent of croissants will be in the air!!

We are VERY EXCITED TO FINALLY ANNOUCE…
Lune Brisbane will be opening its doors NEXT THURSDAY 5TH AUGUST!! 🥳
And to celebrate this occasion, we have a little bit of fun planned for you, Brisbane!
Starting Saturday, the Lune Mobile will be popping up at 4 iconic locations (one per day) around Brisbane, with 100 traditional croissants to give away. In amongst the 100 croissants there will be ONE GOLDEN ALMOND CROISSANT (swipe right to see this beauty 😍) each day. The lucky random recipient will win 2 tickets to a Lune Lab the day before we open!! This incredibly exclusive behind the scenes look at our stunning state of the art kitchen, and a first taste of Lune croissants prepared and baked in the Sunny State!!!
For those lucky enough to score one of the 100 traditional zonts, snap a photo of the croissant at the iconic location and post on Instagram tagging . At the end of each day we will select our favourite post, the winner will receive a box of 6 pastries of their choice, redeemable any time during our opening week - and yep, that’s a skip the queue situation!!

Holy mother of all things gingernut.
This is the Ginger Molasses Cookie Twice Baked. Yep, a mouthful of a name and a *delicious* mouthful (or two) of a croissant...
Filled with a gingernut inspired frangipane (plus bits of housemade gingernut cookie), then, just because there's no such thing as too much cookie, it's baked with a cookie crust. It's spice and all things nice, and then slathered in cream cheese, for an extra good time.
It's winter. Calories don't count.

The story behind Lune’s Bienenstich.
Little known fact, during my Aerospace Engineering degree I spent a year in Germany doing work experience at Volkswagen. Each time a colleague celebrated their birthday they would bring in a slab of this beautiful cake, slathered with honeyed almonds that hid a layer of decadent vanilla custard, all on top of a brioche cake. Unsurprisingly, these were by far the best days in the office 😆
Roll around Elwood, 2014, when and I started to get really experimental with our twice baked creations. Turned out our plain croissant was the perfect vehicle for honey, almonds and vanilla custard. The Lune Bienenstich was born.

March is the month that keeps on giving (at Lune, anyway), and this saucy little number is one to make sure you get your hands on.
Salted caramel and Macadamia babka; Lune pastry twisted with salted caramel and a macadamia praline, and finished off with extra salted caramel straight out of the oven.
It’s a little bit naughty and a lot nice.
