𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀!

For its 37th year of serving as the national federation for all Junior Marketing Associations (JMAs), the Philippine Junior Marketing Association | PJMA and its member schools recently gathered as one alliance to celebrate the new term’s renewed members highlighted at the General Assembly, “Iconic! Striking Lasting Impressions,” last January 27, 2024 at the Jose Rizal University, Centennial Building Auditorium.

Amidst the rise of TikTok influencers, brands, and content creators, standing strong with powerful signature imprints amplified by bold and astonishing tactics such as guerilla marketing, the raised the bar high.

Vice President for Research and Development and Co-Project Head of General Assembly, Mr. Prince Cacho emphasized, “Being iconic isn't just about being noticed; it's about creating a legacy that resonates through time.”

The assembly featured distinguished speakers, including:
• Mr. Jorge Wieneke, Serial Entrepreneur on “Becoming Contagiously Iconic” to master what makes a brand or content go viral
• Mr. Jerry Yao, the Marketing Sensei PH on “Crafting a Signature Imprint” talking about speaking with confidence and creating a timeless personal brand
• Mr. Jeano Cruz, Partner and Creative Director of GIGIL on “Captivating the Crowd” to discuss differentiation through guerilla marketing

In line with PJMA’s mission to Crossing Borders, the National Executive Board 2023-2024 vowed to equip its members with distinctive skills and expertise, fostering the ultimate vision of, “Traversing Dynamic Capacities.” Their pledge aims to help fellow Marketistas constantly thrive in an ever-evolving marketing landscape.

Attendees and partners also enjoyed a booth exhibit filled with internship opportunities, brand activations, and a showcase of iconic JMA trademarks and a parade of university flags, adding a dynamic element to the event.

Vice President for Membership and Project Head for General Assembly, Ms. Shainah P. Babar concluded by stating that the path to becoming iconic lies not just in what you sell, but in how you connect with people.

PJMA extends its sincerest gratitude to Mr. Paul Nucum of UST Tiger TV for hosting the assembly, the Magwayen Creative Scholars’ Guild of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila for their iconic performance, and the Jose Rizal University’s Student Development Office and the JRU Young Marketers Association for a meaningful venue partnership.

In 2022, Firefly Electric & Lighting Corporation (FELCO) united with the nation in celebrating the Christmas season marking New Beginnings for Filipinos as we start anew after the pandemic. As one community, we gathered and kicked off last year’s Christmas celebration in SM By the Bay by reminding Filipinos that it is indeed the time to begin again and celebrate a new start.

New beginnings lead to new experiences. And today, these new experiences are redefined by what is now a seemingly smaller connected world brought about by digital and social media. This magnifies what is essentially important in every new redefined experience…the moments.

That loud laugh from a reminiscent story over dinner in a Christmas reunion with friends. That smile caught on a video call while a toddler opens up a Christmas gift from a relative abroad. That smile as we hug our parents after the Christmas Mass.

This Christmas, Firefly Electric & Lighting Corporation is one with Filipinos in highlighting the moments that matter. Together we Celebright Moments.

This November 10, 2023, Firefly Electric & Lighting Corporation lights up our Christmas moments through its traditional 70-foot Giant Christmas tree partnered with SM by the Bay. Brighter and stronger this year, the tree is illuminated by Firefly Lighting and powered by Royu Electrical, powerhouse brands both from Firefly Electric & Lighting Company.

This year’s Christmas tree continues to parade our parols representing the different festivals in the country and as crafted by the father and son team of Arnel and Mark Flores, leading and award-winning lantern craftsmen from Pampanga.
