Lord Ganesha is known to be the remover of obstacles and is worshipped prior to starting any auspicious work. It is believed that Lord Ganesha was created by Parvati out of dirt to guard her in the absence of Shiva. She gave him the task of guarding her while she took a bath. Lord Shiva returned home and Ganesha, who didn't know who Shiva was, stopped him. This enraged Shiva and he severed Ganesha's head. Parvati was enraged when she came to know about this; Lord Shiva, in turn, promised to get Ganesha back to life. The devas were sent to search for a child's head facing north but they could only find an elephant's head. Shiva fixed the elephant's head on the child's body, and that is how Ganesha was born. This entire beautiful tale is depicted on this saree. It is a rare one-of kind piece. Wishing all of you a Happy Ganesh Chaturti!

World Saree Day
Hindu Mythology has a rich history of enigmatic characters, resounding stories, and a surprisingly innate association with science. Most Indian myths and legends have been derived from two of its epic poems, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, as well as from the ancient Hindu texts, the Puranas. Hindu mythology is populated by an enormous cast of deities, demons, demigods, humans, and animals, many of which are explored through these pieces. Each of these pieces is crafted with precision and detail that tells a story and is a unique expression that represents the culture, tradition, and heritage of a diverse country. The saree itself is one of the most gorgeous and graceful attires, and these one-of-a-kind creations attempt to take us back in time, revive ancient folk art forms, and relive the stories of yore, all while bringing in new designs to strike a delicate balance between the avant-garde and the traditional.
