Being kind to animals doesn’t require much, but the rewards are tenfold. Take Amma, for example, who lives in a plastic tent in Nepal with two dogs she rescued from the street. Despite her hardships, she’s never abandoned her dogs. Her kindness fills her with happiness, proving that compassion is the greatest wealth of all.

The wheelchairs from K9 Carts have arrived! Fiona is the first to try hers on and she is getting the hang of it very quickly. She was always a zoomer, but now that she’s got wheels, look out!

Behind Basundhara Minar School there is a mother with 10 puppies. They were born on August 17th. We need a foster for the mother and babies, someone who will feed her and keep her and her babies safe. People are threatening to throw the babies away. They are too young to be separated from their mother. Is anyone able to foster? Please help 🙏🏽

🩺Update: Muna 🐱
Muna is still awaiting surgery. He first needed to recover from jaundice. Now, he is gradually recovering from anemia. He has slowly opened up to the team and even chats during video updates. The veterinarians tell us he will be strong enough for amputation soon.

🏥 Dogs with spinal cord injuries and paralysis are at particular risk of UTIs and sepsis. Keeping dogs clean and dry, and changing diapers frequently can help prevent certain infections from occurring.
We are paying special attention to our vulnerable newcomers, Fiona, Jerry and Gryffindor, and making sure to change their diapers and keep them washed and dry to prevent the breakdown of their skin barrier and avoid infections.

We are working around the construction
at our care center in Nepal and trying to find creative ways to help our rescues feel at ease. 🐶 Gryffindor and Fiona Apple, and now Jerry Seinfeld, all require wheelchairs and special care. Jerry is still at the hospital, but this week, we set up a makeshift playpen for Fiona and Gryffindor. They, like every other dog, want freedom of movement and playtime.
This entire section of our small care center will eventually have smooth flooring to accommodate wheelchairs, and dogs awaiting wheelchairs. 🦽🐕 We cannot wait until that day🤞🏽🙏🏽

Meet Fiona Apple! She is a 4 month old puppy in need of your help. Little Fiona was rescued by a kind community animal lover who then brought her to Magic Marble Foundation. (Thank you !) Fiona’s human caretaker was going to euthanize her simply because she can’t walk— but Fiona wants to live! She is currently admitted at Advanced Pet Hospital and Research Center in Kathmandu, Nepal. Please help us help Fiona by donating today. She will need treatment and a wheelchair.
