Clean House to Survive? Museums Confront Their Crowded Basements With storage spaces filled with works that may never be shown, some museums are rethinking the way they collect art, and at least one is ranking what it owns.

Hi, all! The Americanist Finalist Lectures have officially ended and Art History Society will resume this week! Join us in South College E245 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM for belated Presidents' Day-appropriate art & Impressionist post card-coloring; a nice break in between midterms!

Art History Society meeting tonight at 5:30! Don't miss it, probably last of the year!!!

This Monday the Art History Society will be planning many fun and interesting events that will come up during the semester. One of them being a tour of Charlie Derby's house, the collector of the African art on display at the UMCA.

If you want to be a part of this planning, maybe so your voice is heard so that the house tour will be on a day that works for you... please come to the meeting this Monday at 5:30pm in W369 in South College.
