A little inspiration for you today...

I've struggled with a lot over the past few years, but what I've learned is that as long as I'm making progress, I don't have to be perfect.

These last few years have also taught me that I have strength I never knew I possessed. It's amazing what you can do and achieve when there is no other option but to "DO" or "ACHIEVE". I'm grateful!

Yum! I think I'm in the mood for these for lunch today, but I'll be adding black beans to the mix. And since I LOVE cheese, I'll probably sprinkle a little of that on as well. I'm always adapting recipes to suit my own tastes, but sometimes you have to do that.

Okay, it was an absolutely GORGEOUS day outside today - just over 60 degrees and sun for days!

I was sitting inside with the kids (why?) trying to get some work done and I was irritated as crap. I finally said 'forget it' and the kids and I went outside to play. We played out there for about three hours - riding bikes, playing catch, playing with the bat and ball, and running wildly - pushing each other in the wagon. It was awesome!

I'm saying all this to say that sometimes all we need is a little fresh air and exercise to kill a bad mood. And lately, I hadn't been getting enough exercise with all the projects I have going on. Today was a reminder that I have to remember to carve out some time for myself each day. Just 20 to 30 minutes a day makes a HUGE difference in your mood and health.
