Great weekend at the British University Track Champs in Newport with the Cardiff Uni Team.

Proud of the boys taking Silver in the Team Pursuit with our DIY preparation and I was happy with 9th in the Kilo.

Thanks to 42 Degrees Coaching for organising a great event at Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales

Been able to string a solid block together over summer and can feel my strength building back up again.

Picked up 12th at the weekend down in Portsmouth at the Omega Nat B Crit, and 6th tonight at Pembrey E123.

Back to basics, no heart rate or power meter this year and loving it đź‘Š

Back racing on the road after a long break, I’ve missed this! Nice to be mixing it up with the fast boys again and enjoying it.

Excited to see what the rest of the year brings.

Really happy to say I’ll be supported by Cardiff University Sport in their High Performance Pathway whilst studying in my first year in Cardiff.

Earlier in the year I unfortunately tested positive for the Epstein Barr virus, so have since been working on my recovery back to full health (hence I haven’t posted in a while!) I felt given the current world climate, starting my studies again was the best option to reach my future goals. If anything, it had been the best time to come down with the illness that can linger for a while, and I haven’t missed too much! I’ve been working off the bike on other parts of my game and staying focused.

I feel I’m in a great place for the foreseeable future, and will be stoked to represent the University when possible also.

A big thank you to THE Roger Black, one of my sporting heroes, who had given me some inspiring advice and helped me stay positive.

Stay safe everyone.

A big shoutout to local company Shokbox UK, based in Alcester, for sorting me out my new bike box. After researching into the best and most protective cases for my race bike, I stumbled across local brand Shokbox.

They have fantastic reviews and offer a lifetime warranty on cases. Designed and made in the UK it is a brand worth supporting if you are after a travel case (hopefully to be used in the near-distant-future!) They also feature GPS trackers in their range.

If interested be sure to get in touch with Martin at https://www.shokbox.co.uk

Cheers guys!

Great to end my Challenge Majorca with a finish result today. I'm very grateful to MEMIL Pro-Cycling and the sponsors for this fantastic opportunity. I'm excited for the season to properly kick off !

The first 3 stages in the bag here at Challenge Majorca 2020 for MEMIL Pro-Cycling. A tough day today in the mountains, and gave everything to try and get Carl Ljunggren back to the main group after he punctured. We hit the summit of Puig Major and were very close, but no cigar. Loving the experience nonetheless!

After finishing my season in Belgium in 2019, I began preparations for this coming season and made a plan.

I had a few phone calls with Craig Gillis, ex professional rugby player for Worcester Warriors, who runs the CG5 Sports Funding for young athletes in the Worcestershire area. I had never recieved any financial support before, and was very pleased to become a recipient of a grant at the end of last year, that has helped a lot with my equipment costs. I was able to travel out to Sweden in December to finalise my team position with Memil Pro Cycling's newly formed U23 team too, flying to Denmark and taking the train across to Sweden, thanks to the generous support. It has also helped get me settled at the pre-season base in Majorca! Thanks guys.

The day after I arrived home from my racing in Montenegro, I began one of my part time jobs, pot washing 4 lunch shifts a week in The Swan at Birlingham. I am very grateful to Will and the guys and can't recommend the place enough. I also worked 3 evenings a week at Pershore Tennis Centre, which was great to help save for my season this year, and still train enough too. My (lucky!) brother has taken on the Tennis Centre job with a bit of persuasion ! I obviously worked the odd shifts at Echelon Cycles which is my 2nd home!

Arrived in Majorca for the start of our 2020 pre-season training. Perfect training weather and roads, I can't wait to start getting some miles in! My bike is now built up courtesy of Tim at Echelon Cycles; and bike fitted by Neill Williamson.

A couple of sunny hours in this afternoon to bed in the bike, and it didn't miss a beat. Thanks to MEMIL Pro-Cycling and the Ninja Cycling Academy for this fantastic opportunity, as well as all the vital support from the sponsors!

Over the past few years, Neill Williamson, of Echelon Cycles, has looked after my bike fitting and also other issues both on and off the bike. He is a great guy with so much knowledge, and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He has spent some time with me recently getting my bike set up for my 2020 season.

I’d also like to thank my coach, Nick Yarworth, for the fantastic support he has given me over the past 18 months. Together we have improved both my physical and psychological attributes to help mould me into a much improved all-round cyclist. He is always a phone call away and I’m very excited to have him continue to support me into the future. YarworthCycleDevelopment.

Very chuffed to announce that I have signed for Memil Pro Cycling for 2020, to fly the colours of their newly established U23/Academy Team.

I’ll be racing a Continental U23 Calendar, where my aim is to show the same level of progression as my 2019 season, and help the team. I’d like to thank Fredrik and the guys for this fantastic opportunity, and recognising my potential - I can’t wait to give it my all after a solid winter of training.

I’ve spent the last 2 weeks out in Sweden at the Team Base, meeting my team mates and staff, and have had an amazing time, as well as getting some hard training in! Bring it on! 🇸🇪

The winner of my signed jersey raffle is... Jason Nind.

A very appropriate winner as he has had close links with Team Goma, and also helps young riders experience racing in Belgium too. He also runs TBW U23 race team based in Kent.

Thanks all for the support, I am very humbled and appreciate it very much!

Tim Wood of Echelon Cycles in Pershore picked the lucky winner.

Just under a week until the winner of my fundraising jersey raffle is drawn. I've been really chuffed with the support and am most grateful! Drop me a message if you would still like a ticket, ÂŁ5 each and the draw is the 25th November. Signed by Mark Cavendish, Mathieu Van Der Poel and Alexander Edmonson.
