Our first event was Cookin’ and Campin’ BBQ Cookoff at Palmetto Shores in Summerton, SC. The Smokin’ Hot Butts team came away with a 2nd Place finish in Ribs with a score of 16.15 and a 16+ Club award. Being in the company of the first place winner Phillip Miles and Tail-Gater Hater was a thrill! Shout out to MonkeyBottom Boys/George Ray, Slinging Meat/David Smith, Backwoods BBQ/ Gene Culbertson and All Smoked Up/ Gary Taylor for sharing your experience with us and helping us along the way! You guys are the best!
