Had a nice afternoon gig at Attenborough Arts today.
Though as I was setting up got asked
"Are you playing today?"
"Yep"
"You're Les Hayden?"
"Yep"
"Oh. I thought it was... someone else."

Having wheezed my way through my last two gigs I decided to give my voice a rest and play instrumentals at the lunchtime gig at the Attenborough centre this afternoon, but still managed to get a small taste of disaster by answering my phone on the way there with my guitar case in the same hand and clocking myself square in the face.
I am a genius.
Tonight I’ll be playing at Duffy’s. Free entry. £50 to get out. That last part is a joke. I think.
