Part 2 - In other words: The belief you are defective because you don't meet a certain standard is a story you're telling yourself. You are in control of this. You can let it go. You were not born with this story, you learned it. The difficult thing to parse is while you may genuinely want to realise a certain ambition (the positive) failing to meet this standard each day is not evidence you are deep down a piece of garbage. The trap we fall into is failing to recognise where we're at. Once you accept yourself, and have realistic expectations, paradoxically this ENABLES you to do more, as you start feeling good again!
