🌿 INGREDIENTS:
¾ oz. (20 mL) simple syrup
5 mint leaves, plus additional for garnish
¾ oz. (20 mL) lime juice
1½ oz. light rum
2 cups (500 mL) ice, divided
1 lime wedge (optional)
🍹 DIRECTIONS:
Combine the syrup and mint leaves in the glass/cup of a cocktail shaker. Muddle until the mint is fragrant.
Add the juice and alcohol to the muddles mint simple syrup.
Add 1 cup (250 mL) of ice to the glass/cup, seal the shaker, and shake vigorously.
Use a cocktail strainer to strain into chilled glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge(s) and additional mint.
