A SILVER LINING...

Last Sunday, we had to take the difficult decision to postpone Headcorn Christmas Artisan Market due to the weather.

But, we're very pleased to announce that many of our hugely talented makers ARE COMING BACK on Sunday 17th December offering you a final opportunity for some LAST MINUTE ARTISAN CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!

Over 40 stalls will be there - including food to eat and to take home - including ceramics, jewellery, traditional crafts - even forged iron pieces!

We'll also have some great gifts for children too.

Yes, we know we haven't got Halloween or Fireworks Night out of the way, but there's no escaping that we're less than 2,000 hours away from 'that fella from the North Pole' bending time and space to get around the World in one evening!

Artisan Markets - where you'll find the most unique, handmade Christmas gifts ideas - are some of the most special places at Christmastime.

And Headcorn Christmas Artisan Markets are no exception: On Sunday 5th November, we hold our Early Christmas Artisan Market. You won't find Santa at this one as he needs to be at his snowy workshop making sure the Elves meet their production targets!, so this is very much for the parents and grandparents.

We'll have around 60 stalls full of magical... 'stuff' that'll have your loved ones wide eyed come the 25th December. Our BELGIAN WAFFLE stall is returning, along with our GOURMET SAUSAGE MAKER plus many other food stalls. 

Then, on Sunday 3rd December sees our full HEADCORN CHRISTMAS ARTISAN MARKET featuring our 'ROVING SANTA' touring the market all afternoon with FREE PRESENTS for the children, THE GILLINGHAM SALVATION ARMY BAND leading our CHRISTMAS CAROL SINGAROUND at 2pm - and..... A HOG ROAST!

It's also the day of the postponed HEADCORN CHARITY DOG SHOW at the village hall too.

There's a HUGE 461 space car park that's just £3.50 for the whole day, at Headcorn train station - only 4 mins stroll from the High St, and 7 mins from the Artisan Market and Dog Show.

This Sunday starts the countdown to Christmas for our stallholders - they'll be taking commissions for those specially ordered gifts that need to be delivered in time for the festive season.

For our 3rd September event, we're almost fully booked in our distinctive red non-food gazebos, but we have space for artisan food makers (pre-packaged to take home) with their own gazebo up to 6m x 3m.

There is a BIG demand for original artisan foods in the area and you can be satisfying that demand at what is already one of the premier monthly artisan events in the Weald of Kent.

Footfall at our August event was estimated in the region of 3,500 - all of whom made a conscious decision to come to our event. Stallholders reported sales levels of 50-100% up on their average event revenue - and our four bakers ALL SOLD OUT!
