November is International Nerve Pain Awareness Month; bringing awareness to the 150+ conditions that have nerve pain as a symptom. In over 150 conditions that have nerve pain as a symptom, CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) is one of the most painful. Yet this condition is misunderstood, mistreated and often misdiagnosed.
The color orange is the international color for chronic pain awareness.
November 2 was Colour the World Orange Day.
To help in raising awareness, many of the buildings in Brisbane were lit up orange for the night:

The end of a wonderful afternoon with friends.
I'm longing to get out for a new adventure!!

We've had some stunning sunsets in SE Queensland lately and, due to tearing a cartilage & ligament in my knee while in Alaska, I haven't been able to drive or get out much so here's a backyard sunset I took a couple of weeks ago while standing on a chair. :)

I love capturing sunsets with lovely landscapes and seacapes BUT sometimes it's totally worth looking up and focussing on the light above.

What a fantastic Photography Meet & Greet organised by DK Photography last Sunday. With a turnout of 110+ photographers, it was difficult to get a composition without photographers in it.
However, it was a fantastic afternoon!

We had an amazing day yesterday at Werribee Open Range Zoo.
Here is one of the gorgeous Zebras we saw.
Our friend Paul is one of the zoo keepers, so we were given a private tour of the zoo and treated to behind the scenes experiences, not necessarily available to the general public.
Huge thanks to Paul and his wife, Chareen, for the wonderful experience of getting up close and personal with so many incredible animals.
