Cooler weather outside means I'm finally starting an overdo inside project. Starting the restore of my dad's meat grinder. I have many fond memories of watching my dad and brother's make fresh sausage. Im hoping to restore it and put back into use to create new memories with Gus. This is an old Enterprise No. 422. A new motor, a custom stand and some freshening up and it'll be good as new. Big thanks to my friend Tim for helping getting it apart. Now on the hunt for an old Enterprise sausage stuffer.

Tonight we finally break in the new firepit properly!
The farm isn't just a place to care for animals and crops, it's a place for family to gather and carry on traditions. Family is in for the weekend and we learned to make tamales from our cousins! Very tasty way to visit and catch up. So much fun sitting around the table working, cracking jokes and telling stories!
