20 (!!!) years ago a door opened to a staircase which led to another door at the top — the smell of spices and a building with history enchanted me almost as much as the sign "Tea Chai Tea" — but it was the magic happening inside that invited me to visit over and over and over and over again. Congratulations for continuing to brew the perfect cup of tea all these years, and thank you for providing a young artist a space to grow up in. You continue to inspire me ✨✨✨

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart - to the moon and the stars and back again - to all who came out to support the resurfacing of my art! To share my jewels alongside all the talented makers was an honor. I am crawling into bed and hitting the pillow hard with my cup overflowing. I appreciate life with its crazy twist and turns in a whole new light, thank you to all who helped me grow my business and then waited so patiently for me to catch my bearings again. My daughter came to visit and was SO proud of me - but the highlight for her was this dress by that had to be on her body IMMEDIATELY - plus her first for her head! I predict she will only be wearing this for a very very long time 💓

I meant to post this before the show... oops! Now this is a post of gratitude to the community who came out to visit us in the storm, many many thanks! I feel so fortunate to be under the same roof with the talented makers of - thank you for making the magic come alive!

Today is the day!!!! I kinda remember what it was like to stay up waaaaaay too late the night before a show and only have my sleepy self to deal with in the morning. This morning Liliana decided to wake up EXTRA early and now I am sitting here "making beads" with her sipping my coffee like it's life support. Guess she is my child 💗
Looking forward to showing her, and you all, that I still have a bit of old Lauren in me. The artist's spirit never dies, even after the great shattering. Picking up all my little pieces and some big ones and getting ready for the show. Here I come !! Ready or not ✨

Winter essentials

It is a fine balance between feeling like the collection is coming together and me feeling like I have nothing finished. Too many ideas = so many unfinished pieces! Out of all the things I packed away in hopes to keep making my art, hammering has been the hardest to get back. Muscle memory- use it or lose it!! Here's to exercising and unlocking skills again.

Aquamarine is my daughter's birthstone and I am sprinkling it into my collection in her honor. This picture was taken late at night and doesn't capture the light blue but it did capture some energy ✨ I am matching up some of the most wild, raw, and unusual crystal formations I have. Nothing is perfect but all have a balance that mother nature and I can agree on. I am so excited to share what I've collected!

It has been so wild to uncover my jewelry business I safely tucked away 4 years ago. Projects half completed. Market prep in boxes. Tags folded and packaging ready.
