Special new remix out today for Phil Moffa aka aka the don, the professor, my mentor, friend and collaborator. I first met Phil in college when I enrolled in his special masterclass. A space where he pushed us to dive head deep into a different caliber of sound by expanding outside the realms of our personal computers and into the physicality of analog gear. Phil introduced us to a new freedom of expression by way of syncing hardware units (drum machines, synths, FX) and just hitting record. Embracing all sound sources from instruments of the upper echelon to affordable and even broken scrammies.

It was an honor to remix Phil’s “Alma Del Mundo” which I’ve played on countless dance floors since I first heard it in 2016. This is the first of 4 remixes — from friends and students of Phil: and Alexander Dell. Out today on .records with artwork by and a link in a bio. More soon 🎬 !
