Got out there yesterday and endured the heat after work. Found this nice guy but took me about two minutes to get him out of the weeds he wasn’t happy. Then there was this little d**k that I yoinked from under a dock. All in all was worth the sweat, fish were caught on 5” trick stick in specter and 4” in watermelon. A little appreciation post for my base camp for adventures, the rig held up great the last couple of weeks even in some severe weather kept us and our gear safe and dry. What a way to end the weekend got out on the lake with my old man for an hour or so was the first time we hit the water together with my own worms and found a fish each.
