I'm happy to announce that I will have more pieces shown at Loudoun House this Fall. Two of my pieces: TANGY, Mixed Media on Canvas, 12"x12", 2020 (including detail images to show the texture) and CEPHEID, Acrylic on Canvas, 16"x16" (circular), 2018 will be featured in this year's PRHBTN X.
"PRHBTN is an annual celebration of art forms that have been criminalized, marginalized, and under-appreciated in the mainstream, featuring public murals alongside an exhibition of street art works in a space that complements the raw, powerful nature of the message and artistry of each piece." "Art for the Masses" (from: www.prhbtn.com). There are five public muralists in this years festival and their work can be found throughout the city of Lexington.
The opening will be held at 6pm Friday October 15th. The exhibit will feature over 100 local and regional
Kentucky artists displaying works of all mediums and subject matter.
This event will also feature a full cash bar as well as food trucks.
The exhibit runs from October 18th - November 12th

Today is the opening day for the all 3 galleries at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center. Due to an increase in COVID-19 in Dubois County (Jasper, IN) the center is closed to the public through January 18th. However, you can view the online version here. Born in Bardstown, KY, Clare is a visual artist primarily focused in acrylic painting. She is a 2018 graduate from Bellarmine University. Clare received her Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude with a degree in Art with an Emphasis in Painting and a minor in Art History. The influences for her art are drawn from her local environment and popular culture. She is also devoted to other forms of art, by designing sets for theatre productions at Nelson County High School, the Bardstown Community Theatre, and Bellarmine University's Theatre Program. From 2017-2018, she was an artist in residence in the Arthur N. BecVar Artist in Residence Program in Bellarmine University.
Her most recent exhibitions include: Lucky 13 at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery in Mesquite, NV, Abstract in Kentucky at Kaviar Forge and Gallery in Louisville, KY, andSenior Thesis Exhibition at Bellarmine University's McGrath Gallery, Louisville, KY. Her work is currently featured in the upcoming exhibitions: Same/Same at Annex:Art's Gallery 66 in San Fidel, NM (April 20-May 31, 2018), 5th N**e Biennial: The Figure Revealed at Kaviar Forge and Gallery in Louisville, KY (May 25-July 14, 2018), and Artsposure 2018 at Kennydid Gallery in Midway, KY (June 1-July 31, 2018). Her work will be featured in the upcoming exhibition: Amuse Yeux: A Small Delight for the Eyes at the Foothills Art Center in Golden, CO (June 22-August 12, 2018).
