Esta es una de las historias que encontrarás en el proyecto "On Motherhood". Sí, en las exposiciones hay retratos e historias completas porque aunque se dice que una imagen vale más que mil palabras, a veces no es suficiente. Para cambiar la conversación necesitamos ver la historia completa y esto, para mí, llega con la mezcla de estas dos herramientas artísticas que me encanta juntar. Si aún no la has visto, todavía estás a tiempo. La exposición estará hasta el 13 de abril en Grieger International Fine Art de Düsseldorf. ¡No te la pierdas!

Dies ist eine der Geschichten, die im Rahmen des Projekts ,,On Motherhood" zu finden sind. Ja, in den Ausstellungen gibt es Porträts und ganze Geschichten, denn auch wenn es heißt, dass ein Bild mehr als tausend Worte sagt, reicht es manchmal nicht aus. Um das Gespräch zu verändern, müssen wir die ganze Geschichte sehen, und das ist für mich die Mischung aus diesen beiden künstlerischen Werkzeugen, die ich so gerne zusammenstelle. Wenn du die Ausstellung noch nicht gesehen hast, hast du noch Zeit. Die Ausstellung wird bis zum 13. April bei Grieger International Fine Art in Düsseldorf zu sehen sein. Verpasst sie nicht!

This is one of the stories that you will find in the project "On Motherhood". Yes in the exhibitions there are portraits and full stories because even though it is said that an image is worth a thousand words, sometimes it is not enough. To change the conversation we need to see the whole story and this, for me, comes with the mixture of these two artistic tools that I love to put together. "On motherhood" es una serie íntima de retratos e historias presentados de una manera singular cuyo objetivo es invitar a mirar y profundizar en las ideas preconcebidas que la sociedad tiene sobre la maternidad.

Although by the time she found her father it was too late, M. was able to prove to those who did not believe her that her father existed and had never wanted to abandon them. He always carried his picture in his wallet. The family left behind because of a war.

S. learned to use photoshop at the age of 75. When I met him, he was 93 years old and still using it. It was a pleasure to meet him.

A. suffers from dyslexia, but that didn't make him give up and he went on to study for the university degree he wanted.

Letters from exile.

S. was able to learn about his father's story thanks to these letters. Sometimes I wonder how our children will know our history, perhaps that is why I am obsessed with objects and what they can tell us.
