Each meeting you attend is one service credit! Here is the schedule for Operation Smile

This is just a reminder that you need to complete the service credit form by December 1st at midnight. You need 2 service credits PER semester to be inducted in the Spring (1 service credit = 1 hour of volunteering).

In regards to volunteering opportunities coming up, there is an Operation Smile Meeting this Friday, 12/1, at 3:30p.m-4:30p.m. in the Science Building room 338. This counts as 1 service credit.

Please email [email protected] (Rowan University Office of Volunteerism) and ask if there are any other volunteering opportunities you can participate in before November ends!

Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for all of our pledges!

If you decorate 3 Thanksgiving placemats, that is equal to fulfilling 1 service credit. If you decorate 6 Thanksgiving placemats, you will fulfill your two mandatory individual service credits.

Specifications:

1. These are the times/days you can pick them up in the Rowan Writing Center, Campbell Library 131:
-Tuesday, 11/14, from 4:00p.m-9:00p.m
-Wednesday, 11/15, from 12:00p.m to 4:00p.m.
-Thursday, 11/16, from 1:00p.m to 4:00p.m.

If none of these times work for you, email us and we can figure something out.

2. The placemats are due by Monday, 11/20 before 4:00p.m. BUT you can submit them anytime at the Office of Volunteerism, which is open M-F 8:00a.m to 4:00p.m (Student Center Room 210).

4. Attached are some of the placemats that were submitted already. Please make them appropriate and avoid cultural appropriation and stereotypes.
