Prayers for the Deering family and Denison Texas Police Department.

It is with a broken heart that we inform you of the passing of one of our own, Officer Will Deering, who lost his short-lived battle with leukemia earlier today.

Officer Deering was a dedicated member of the Denison Police Department, serving with honor, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our community. His contributions both on and off the job were invaluable, and his sense of duty was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Officer Deering will be remembered not only for his service but for the kindness, courage, and compassion he brought to every aspect of his life. He was more than a colleague; he was a husband, a father, a friend, a mentor, and a source of strength for all who knew him.

During this time of profound grief, our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Deering’s family, friends, and loved ones. We ask that you keep them in your hearts as they navigate this difficult journey.

The impact Officer Deering had on our department and community will never be forgotten. We honor his memory by continuing to serve with the same dedication and selflessness that he exemplified every day. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the difference he made.

Fall ball is in full swing!! We offer both intact and individual rec sign ups. Games will be played during the week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Denison 8u took a 13-7 win over Texarkana in their regional tournament.
They play Hallsville next at 4:30 today.

Our Denison 6u All Star team kicked off their regional tournament with a 30-26 win over Atlanta this morning!
They go on to play Sulphur Springs tomorrow!

Our 9u Denison Yellow Jackets came out as undefeated champions in the Texas DYB District 1 tournament!

Join us in congratulating them and wishing them good luck as they travel to Paris, Tx for the state tournament!! It’s GREAT to be a Yellow Jacket!!

Our Denison 9u All Star team kicked off their District 1 tournament last night with a 17-2 win against Bells!

Game 2 is tonight against Pottsboro at 6pm.

With several of our All-Star teams advancing to State and Regional Tournaments in the coming weeks, they are in need of donations and sponsors for travel expenses. These boys have all worked so hard to get to this point and we don't want anything to keep them from playing further. Any little bit helps!

It's All-Star time! 7u and 8u will start at 6pm at Waterloo and 6u is in Sherman. Come out and support Denison Youth Sports and the All-Stars this weekend!!

The 8u DYS All-Star team entered in an NCS tournament over the weekend and brought home some hardware for 1st place!! Looking forward to seeing what all of our All-Star teams do in the upcoming weeks.
