Hey ya'll, we just wanted to say a big thank you for showing us the love the other night. Randall Shreve and Me Like Bees were excellent as always, and y'all made us feel like we were never gone. It was a great time. We had a lot of fun, and it couldn't have been so sweet without y'all, so thank you very much. We'd like to keep this going for a while, so we're happy to announce that we'll be back at George's on July 15th with Chasing Pictures and friends. We'll be coming at ya real soon with posters, pre sale tickets, songs, hugs, and love. We'll see ya soon you beautiful people

Hello friends, it's very good to be saying hello. We hope you're all doing very well. After some much needed time, We've decided it's time to play again. We'll be at George's Majestic Lounge tomorrow night with Randall Shreve ( and the Devilles) and Me Like Bees. We're so excited to be able to play this music for y'all again. Your continued support over the last couple of years has meant the world to us. It's been so long, and coming back to playing with Randall and Me Like Bees is such a great way for us to step back in. We are so excited for this, and we hope you wanna come help us spread this love. We'll have a few more announcements in the coming months, but for now, it's just good to be saying that we're not done just yet. We love each of you❤️

As you may well know, RANDALL SHREVE AND THE SIDESHOW's last show is next Saturday the 31st at George's Majestic Lounge, and they've given us the honor of asking us to play. This will be our first show since September, and once again Zach Tennant will fill in on bass. We'd like to thank you all for your support during this bizarre time for us, it would mean a lot to see our fans come give Randall and co a proper send off. They have been brothers since the beginning to us. Thank you all

Surf De Soleil opens for Bear Hands at George's Majestic Lounge TOMORROW NIGHT Monday Sept. 22 at exactly 9:00 pm!! Doors open at 8:30. We will be rocking extra hard in the name of Jared Thompson and we hope everyone is there to see it!!!
Not very many pre-sale tickets left so if you don't end up getting one please come to the show anyway!! There will be a donation jar at our merch table for anyone who couldn't buy a pre-sale ticket and still wants to support Jared's family.

When we heard the news and met together that night, we knew canceling the show on Monday wasn't an option. Do you realize how upset Jared would be if we cancelled a show? The question only was rather we should play as Surf de Soleil or under a new name for a tribute set. We talked to the family and they agreed that the single best way to pay homage to our brother would be to rock out just like we normally do. SO THE SHOW WILL GO ON. This MONDAY we are playing with Bear Hands from Brooklyn at George's. We have presale tickets for $12 in which WE GET TO KEEP 100% of the proceeds, which will be used to help Jared's family during this time and release the album that Jared put so much work into. We hope to see EVERYONE there. Hit us up for a ticket!!!

Our apologies for our lack of an update. It's been a hard last few days and it's been difficult for us to properly collect our thoughts.

On Saturday morning our bassist and brother Jared Thompson passed away. For over half a decade we grew with Jared as men and musicians, and having to continue on this journey of life without one of our brothers is going to be very difficult. We all take comfort however in the fact that deep in our hearts, we know we'll all be together again someday, and that he will continue to ring in every chord we strum, every note we play. He was easily one of the most determined and hard working men we'd ever known, but below his hard exterior was an amazingly kind and gentle soul that was a pleasure to get to know as we continued to grow closer as a group of brothers.

We can't be thankful enough for the kind words and gestures of love from friends, family, and fans during this very confusing and difficult time. We are so happy to know that we have the support from such a wonderful group of people, and we love you all.

Jared's visitation will be from 5pm-7pm today and his funeral service will be at 2pm on Wednesday (tomorrow) both at Beard's Funeral Chapel on Highway 16. We encourage everyone to come together as a community to remember and celebrate the life of an incredible human being.
