Here’s my favorite healthy French Toast recipe to help reduce your consumption of acid forming foods to help improve your flexibility ✨.⁣

•4 slices of sprouted bread.⁣
•1 ripe banana.⁣
•1 cup of almond milk.⁣
•1 tsp of alcohol free vanilla extract.⁣
•cinnamon to taste ( I like A LOT 🤤).⁣
•a few drops of liquid stevia.⁣
•earth balance to taste.⁣

Just simply mash everything except for the bread and earth balance together in a bowl with a fork, soak the bread in the mixture, add earth balance to your pan on medium heat and let the French Toast cook evenly on both sides. Enjoy with butter and pure maple syrup or agave nectar on top of you wish :)! I also love to top it with more cinnamon and fresh sliced banana and strawberries 🍓 😍.⁣

Most of us feel stressed out, sore, tired, have tight muscles, want to learn how to stretch for physical activities, have a heavy sense of unease, and are yearning to connect with ourselves deeper. Yin Yoga can help you relax deeply on your mat one deep, slow breath at a time all while benefiting the body from the inside out.

My Yin Yoga classes are great for all levels of practitioners, even people who have never practiced yoga before. Yin Yoga is a relaxing, leisurely paced style of yoga that blends yoga poses with Traditional Chinese Medicine to stimulate the meridians of the body. In my classes, we hold these laid-back poses for 1 to 3 minutes at a time to get the full benefit of each pose and relax the mind.

And my vinyasa flow classes are a fun, challenging way to exercise your body and build functional strength all while toning the muscles.

I will still be going live today teaching a free relaxing yoga class that’s suitable for all levels, even brand new beginners! Tune in at Noon, Pacific Time, or access it any time after within 24 hours :)! I’ll be teaching the class using yoga props that everyone can find at home! We will need two pillows from your bed, and two bath towels 💜! If you have a yoga mat, you’ll want to roll it out prior, but if you just want to lay on your carpet or a towel that’s okay too :)! Make sure yoga is right for you by your doctor.

In light of this unique time, I will be teaching a free relaxing yoga class tomorrow at noon pacific time on Instagram live :). ⁣

The class will probably only be about 20 minutes long since I can’t leave home and my dog will start screaming once she runs out of peanut butter and bones when she’s locked in my bedroom 😂😂😂. ⁣

Day 5 of the yoga challenge. Share how you spread Love each day.

This is something that I absolutely love to do! I’m a HUGE love bug and love giving and receiving love. I love hugging people, complimenting them, reassuring them their insecurities aren’t valid, helping with charities, not eating innocent animals (Jesus, pretentious much Ashley 😂?) giving all the fur babies I see lots and lots of kisses. I like giving little gifts and food to people when I have the means. And I adore cuddling with my loved ones and some might say I’m a little needy 🤦‍♀️. I also love giving love to myself and practice affirmations in front of the mirror and kiss my arm every night before I fall asleep, weird huh?

Day two of the yoga challenge. Share a coping method that works well for you when you are faced with a disappointment.
I personally really like to go for a drive and listen to music and cry, talk about it with a friend or my mom, cuddle with my dog and watch a feel good movie, indulge in my favorite foods, and practice yoga of course.
Life has given me a lot of disappointments just like everyone else, but I really do believe that there is often a divine plan and sometimes our disappointments are a blessing in disguise.
There have been many things in life I thought I wanted and was devastated when they didn’t come to pass. But I often look back at those times with gratitude knowing that they weren’t meant for me and something better really did come along :). Even when you can’t see that something better yet, that doesn’t mean it’s not on its way to you✨.

Almost all of us need yoga in our lives, but most of us don’t know where to start. I designed my website of online yoga classes to create a platform of yoga classes that you can actually do and easily afford.

Most of us have very busy lives and making time for self care isn’t always easy. With my online yoga classes, you can easily do them anywhere or anytime you can cram your practice in.

Yoga has become ridiculously expensive, and most of us have responsibilities and mouths to feed but my classes are set at a monthly price that almost everyone can afford.

These classes aren’t designed for only athletic and flexible body types like most yoga classes, they are for every body type. And most of us are tight and a little (or a lot) achey. We are stretching and taking care of ourselves in mindful ways that feel good to the body with lots of modifications and props offered for the maximum benefit to feel better in your body and mind, and relax.

I offer classes from 5 minutes to 55 minutes so you can cater them to your own day to day schedule. I teach vinyasa flow for strengthening and stretching. And I also teach yin yoga for relaxing and stretching.

Most of us stretch every day whether we are conscious of it or not, but there is a proper way to stretch so you don’t injure yourself. For example, I see people at the gym every day doing seated or standing forward folds in a way that could seriously injure their back in time, even though they are completely unaware of it and it probably feels great at the moment. From a seated or standing forward fold, it is SO important to fold from your hip creases instead of your waist. And most of us need to bend the knees a little and flex the feet keeping the knees from splaying out. You will need to bend your knees a bit unless your belly is on your thoughts easily with the legs straight, otherwise you’re more likely to fold from your waist, compromising your lumbar spine :(. And if you are doing this standing, make sure you’re not sinking back into your heels and evenly distribute the weight into your feet :).
