One week 'til reunion! We'll need those of you who are coming to bring some bright clothing to wear in this year's parade - we're going to really stand out this year!
Two more weeks to go until reunion! Congratulations to our gift committee and our classmates for breaking the 50% mark. The current status of this year's 1967 class gift is:
Total Dollars Raised - $282,793
Total Donors - 95
Class Participation - 57%
Number of Donors needed to reach 72% - 25
If we get to 72% we'll break the record for a 45th reunion class so please give to our wonderful college by June 30 if you haven't done so already! Any amount counts!
The second program that the Class of 1967 will sponsor at reunion is the documentary film "We Still Live Here". This film tells an astonishing story of linguistic and cultural revival among the Wampanoag of Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. Celebrated every Thanksgiving as 'the Indians' who saved the Pilgrims, then largely forgotten, the Wampanoag are now saying loud and clear, in their Native tongue, "As Nutayunean" - "We still live here". This is the first time that a language with no speakers after many generations has been revived in a Native American community. If you missed this film on PBS, come and see this wonderfully told and moving story at reunion!
Reunion registration deadline is in 10 days (May 14), not that you won't be welcome, even at the last minute! But the number of classmates & guests that we have then will determine our dorm housing assignment. The more the better! As of last weekend, we have 56 classmates and guests signed up - if you're not yet one of them, we'd love to have you join us for the fun & friendship!
Our "Artists, Artisans and Authors" reunion program is going to be wonderful. So far we have the following classmates who have made firm commitments:

Hopefully a few more classmates will contribute too!
We'll share our program with the class of 1972, so plan to come and view the various exhibits of the talented folks from the classes of 1967 and 1972!
Early reunion registration ends tomorrow (April 16) at midnight - if you register before the deadline your name will be entered into a drawing for a free reunion weekend package!
