Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well, staying safe, staying at home to protect those you love, and help our frontline workers everywhere. I have been creating quite a bit and though the photos I am sharing now are not ideal, I hope the work cheers you up. These are all part of the new series-- But, On the Bright Side! Stay safe everyone! Love!
Hello everyone. Finally sharing some new work...these 4 minis (8x8inch or 20.3x20.3 cm) were created for the Art Vancouver contest on the theme of climate art. They are all acrylic on canvas...Let me know which one is your favourite!
1. Sine que non
2.Inferno

4. What Will Be Our Legacy 2
Hello everyone, I know it has been a while, yet again, but I haven't had the easiest time of late. It is a very long story, but in honour of the International Women's Day, and to celebrate all the wonderful, strong, brilliant, fierce, kind, and loving women out there, I thought I'd share a piece I completed a few weeks ago. Titled Independent, it is a 20x20x1.5 inch acrylic on canvas, that was inspired by someone I have the outmost respect for, a woman of great integrity, not often seen it today's politics--the Hon. Jody Wilson Raybould.
So here's to all the women (both fictional and real) who inspire us to stand true to who we are and fight for what is important to us...Together, we are stronger!
I am not sure if I shared these already, so if I have, I am sure you'll forgive me...The two images are from my display @ Pacific Arts Market (1448 West Broadway, upstairs.) Today we are having one of our Holly Jolly Sundays...eggnog and cake day! So drop by for a fun holiday celebration, meet the artists, and maybe find some unique, one of a kind gifts for a loved one!
This piece sold on the opening night of North Van Arts Anonymous Art Show (AAS19)! Very exciting! There are still a couple of days left before the show closes and some amazing art still available. If you get a chance it is definitely worth a visit. The show closes on the 18th.
Hello again my friends...some more photos from the end of the year events happening weekly! Hard to keep up with it all!
Hello all. I promised some photos from the recent events...First up, the Uncovered Arts Gala from Sat. Nov. 24th!
Hello everyone, lots of things happening so here's a quick update:.
1.Last Saturday I moved into the Pacific Arts Market for the second time this year, and on Tuesday, I was able to finish my display...Tomorrow (Sunday, Dec. 01) we are celebrating PAM's first birthday, so hope to see you there 4-9pm) I am hoping to be there but have a bit of a cold so it's day by day for now!
2.Last Saturday was also the big Uncovered Arts Gala event...which was tons of fun, and a fairly successful evening. I know some of you got tickets but didn't quite make it to the event...perhaps some other time.
3.Last Sunday was the Holiday Market at the West End Community Centre...thankfully, a fairly quiet day of a crazy busy weekend.
4. This last Thursday, (Nov. 28) was the opening night of the Anonymous Art Show at North Van Arts...I have 3 paintings accepted in the show, but unfortunately, haven't been able to see it in person yet! The show and sale continues until Dec. 18, and it is a great chance to get some really fun, original art and support the North Van Arts programming for the year ahead!
There's more coming but for now I am exhausted, so, hopefully soon!
I will also post some photos from the events one of these days!
Hello everyone! I need to thank all of you for coming out to the Charity Art Auction at the Pacific Arts Market last Saturday...It was a fun night and we raised some funds, which is always fantastic! So thank you again!
Hello all! Tomorrow is the big day...our Charity Art Auction at the Pacific Arts Market (1448 West Broadway, upstairs!) I hope you RSVP-ed! See you there--4-9pm
Hello again! My most recent post promised some new art so here it is. The first few images are colourful alcohol inks--which I have been loving over the last year or so. They are a lot of fun to work with, but one does need a well ventilated room or the fumes start to make you a little loopy! Next up is a miniature that was intended for a project in Italy, but unfortunately, things didn't quite work out , so it stayed with me...there are in fact four miniatures to the theme of four elements: earth, fire, water and air, I am sure you can guess which one this is! And finally, the newest is the first piece of the four seasons series, depicting, of course, the fall. The new aspect for me is playing with texture, using modeling paste! Hope you like them...Please let me know what you thing and which one is your favourite!
Hello everyone, I know it's been a really long time since you've heard from me. Thank you for sticking by... I know I am not the most exciting account to follow, but am very grateful for each and every one of you!
I have been much more active on my IG account, posting new work and exciting things (and less exciting things) that have been happening over the last few months.
To start with I'll share some great news, and then I'll post some new art that I have been creating over the last year!

Our lovely community at the Pacific Arts Market is organizing its 2nd Charity Art Auction, on Oct. 26, 2019, 4-9pm. This time it is on Saturday, so I'm hoping to see some of you at the event. As you know, we are located at 1448 West Broadway--just off Granville Street--and yes, there are some stairs, but a short and gentle climb is definitely worth it! I am contributing 2 alcohol ink pieces, and the event will be tons of fun with live music, cash bar...come join us, meet the artists and maybe even start your holiday shopping!

Hi everyone, tonight is the grand opening of the Anonymous Art Show in North Van...at 7pm! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it, but if you can, please go!
Hello everyone, I may have mentioned I would be posting some new events I am participating in this month...so here we go! Starting next Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 you can visit the North Van Arts Anonymous Art Show and sale--huge fundraiser for the arts community. All the pieces are available for the same price and until it is sold nobody knows who the artist is...unless, the person is familiar with your work. So obviously can't post those pieces right now, but I bet some of you might recognize one or two. As I mentioned the show opens Nov. 22, 2018--6pm-9pm--would love to see you there! It is located at Cityscape Community Art Space--at 335 Lonsdale Ave. North Vancouver. The show and sale continue until Dec. 15! A wonderful chance to get an original piece of art for only a $100!
Updates about events and other posts after Remembrance Day!

I will be posting pics here very, very soon! Grateful for an amazing experience! Stay tuned for the photos
