Calling all policy people, digital equity & broadband experts, and folks with grants and program implementation expertise: the Illinois Office of Broadband is looking for its next Assistant Director!

The Assistant Director will focus on overseeing the grants portion of the $1B+ Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) and Digital Equity Act resources coming to Illinois, as well as implementation of the Digital Equity Plan, pursuit of connectivity policy goals, and collaboration with the Illinois Broadband Lab. Looking for a creative problem solver and team player with a track record of getting things done in a bureaucratic environment.

Based in Springfield or Chicago with a hybrid work environment.
