Here's the recipe on how a lot of play dough can be made with just simple ingredients that you could already find in your kitchen. you will never have to buy that oh-so-expensive bottles of play dough, that come in little tubs. Why not let your child express his/her creativity and encourage them to develop their fine motor skills, strengthening those little fingers' muscles. you will need:
- 2 cups plain flour ( any type of cup will do depending on how much you want to make.)
- 1/2 cups salt
- 2 table spoons of cooking oil
- 1 cup hot water, mixed with the food coloring of their choice

Just mix them all together in a big bowl and knead it through. Add a little bit more of flour until the dough become consistent and less sticky. Keep it in the airtight container for up to 2 weeks and create endless thing with your child.

(For maximum learning : Make the play dough with them. Measure the ingredients together and let them know how it is made, extending their numeracy and thinking skills. )
