On this date 20 years ago Sodomic got together with 2 friends to record an album that would change the trajectory of Power From Hell forever.

"The True Metal" was recorded in November 2003 during a rehearsal session in a very primitive way, we wanted exactly the final result we achieved, a raw album without any type of specific production, the album was originally released in 2004 by DARK SUN RECORDS and since then has had several versions and re-releases around the world, the 20th anniversary is next year but the recording period in 2003 was special for us.

2 decades later and with many line-up changes and a natural musical evolution along the way, we are still here doing BLACK METAL, and we will continue until the end and we are looking forward to playing some songs from this album on our next European tour in 2024.

This record is very important to us because it marks a change of direction and a more extreme approach towards the world of Black metal. During the last months, we had the opportunity to present the album by touring through North and South America. Now, in February 2024, we will finally have the chance to manifest the new material from this album to the European audience. Stay alert for more info about the forthcoming tour!
