Thank you to the Soroptimist International Club of Bangsar for your invaluable mentorship and collaboration in organizing the personal safety workshop for children. Your commitment has made a lasting impact on our local community, equipping children with essential skills to protect themselves. Together, we are truly making a difference and empowering the next generation to stay safe and confident.

Our very first Personal Safety for Children Workshop collaborated with Soroptimist International Club of Bangsar. 21 children from age 6 to 12 benefited from this workshop on how to take care of their own personal safety, affirmation that everyone is unique, identifying their own body parts and the 5 Golden Rules.

For WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, all SI Malaysia sisters are invited to an event organised by SIROM “Environment Sustainability Day at Bentong GCC”.
All SI members are invited to this eco event. Vegetables are harvested from the aquaponics farm (a SIROM FOOD SUSTAINABILITY project Sponsored by ).
SI Melaka Teu Lee Lian Way Lynn Penny Leow Lee Li Ting joined the good cause and witness the impact created by SIROM.
This project created work opportunities for the nearby orang asli community as well as the SDG Goals.

SDG2 to “End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture”.

Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all

SDG15
Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss

We have our Personal Safety for Children Program - Train the Trainer Session today with 32 participants. Thank you to SICB’s sister Dr Inthirani and Sim Chan for facilitating the sessions.
If our children aware of the 5 🖐🏼Golden Rules of Personal Safety then we can avoid unfortunate incidents to happen.
We will reach out to the children soon. Any organisation or children centre that are interested can reach out to us.
