In the excitement of getting ready for the start of a brand new term tomorrow we almost forgot our Mini Science Birthday!! Four whole years of bringing the best Mini Science fun to families. We’ve loved every minute. Thank you for choosing to spend some of your time with your child from these special years with us, we feel so lucky. Here’s to many more years! 🎉🎂🥳🎈🎊🎁

Wow, what an amazing Summer it’s been with you all, from workshops to fun days to shows, it’s all been an absolute pleasure and we’ve enjoyed every minute of bringing the best Big Science fun to the North East. Thank you to everyone who has booked an event and also attended. So lucky to have such an amazing job!
October half term is almost fully booked already and we are taking bookings right into 2025 so please do get in touch via [email protected].

Big Science is a fun and hands-on session where children not only get to do their own experiments, but see amazing Big Science demonstrations too!

Our Story so far...
Big Science was founded and started in 2015 by Neil. Neil worked as a Science technician in a secondary school. After seeing the enthusiasm his own children had for science when he would bring home simple experiments he decided to make science fun and engaging for all children by providing birthday parties. Since then our trusted and popular Big Science brand has started to grow and we are now in a position to offer others this amazing opportunity to join us by owning a Big Science franchise.
Big Science aims to bring science fun to children via a range of unique party packages, events, clubs, classes and educational packages for schools. We bring science to life through our amazing demonstrations, games and hands on science experiments and activities.
Most recently we have designed and developed our new Mini Science Club. This has been carefully designed and planned by Neil (owner) and Helen (Early Years Practitioner) with the EYFS in mind. During each Mini Science session your child will not only play and explore, they will also be actively learning, creating and thinking critically every week.
Our Big Science online shop also provides a range of Science boxes for all ages to enjoy at home along with our free videos on our social media platforms and YouTube.
