We had so much fun last night on - my gorgeous fellow musicians went absolutely above and beyond to deliver 2 x storming shows.
Given that my 1960s rock n roll piano number *may* have gotten the biggest cheer of the night (“Nut Rocker”!), maybe I should forget singing musicals, & start doing a piano/ rock n roll show?! 😂

I got very emotional (!) taking my kids to visit my old music school, the utterly amazing
Honestly, I had the happiest time boarding here age 11-18. I found it to be an incredibly inspiring environment; surrounded by so many like-minded young musicians. On my last day in July 1993, I cried all the way home in the car.

Found this old article from when I was 18 years old. It’s funny how making music has *always* been such an obsession of mine. The older I get, the more I realise that I’m still that same little girl deep down… always trying to find ways to be creative.

I promise I’m not posting this to boast… I just literally cannot believe my luck. Most days at home as a busy mother I feel like I barely get out of the house (not including the school run, or a quick jog!) … so, it’s hard to believe I’m getting paid to perform on this exquisite Greek island cruise on the brand new BEYOND The audiences have been so positive, it’s all been a little bit overwhelming, and I cried *real* happy tears at the end of my show, when everyone went nuts! I love you all # # #
