Tonight, I'm going to be completely honest with you all. I didn't make any progress on my holiday prep today. 😕 Life happens, and sometimes we need to take a step back and acknowledge that it's okay to have days like this. I'm writing this post hurriedly before heading to bed as it's already close to 10 PM here, and I have an early start tomorrow at 4:30 AM. Busy days are ahead.

But, amidst all that, I have some exciting news to share! My banner has arrived! 🎉 However, there's a small twist - it's WAYYYYYYY bigger than I anticipated. I'm going to have to put on my thinking cap and figure out the best way to display it at my upcoming craft fairs. But that's a challenge I'll conquer as tomorrow's Maria. 🎁 **Day 5 of Holiday Prep: Celebrating Birthdays and Making Snowmen** ☃️

Today was a special day for our family - it was my husband's birthday! Though he had to work today, we managed to squeeze in a wonderful dinner with his family. It's always so lovely being able to spend time with them.

Before the festivities began, my amazing assistant elf (aka my trusty sidekick!) and I took a quick trip to the storage unit to grab our craft show gear. With our first fair coming up on November 4th, it's time to start setting up our display and getting everything in order.

But of course, I couldn't resist diving back into my handmade projects! Today I started making snowmen using this cozy blanket yarn. I have to admit - I'm not a huge fan of working in rounds, but this yarn is working up so fast that it hasn't been an issue at all. And hey, I deserve some applause for that, right? 😅

Me and one of my assistants made felt Winnie the poohs for national winnie the pooh day yesterday!
The kids loved them so much, we have to make more, I didn't stuff mine but they stick to our classroom feltboard. I really loved being able to show the kids something that was a part of my childhood.
This was a great trial run for felt objects for our age group. I can not wait to make more items for them. And I can't wait to share them with you guys!
