Let’s just say I’ve been inspired and creative of late…

Stay True
(c) 2024 Sunday’s Muse Music

Verse 1
In a world that's always changing, shifting sands beneath my feet,
I'm standing tall and steady, got my heart on repeat.
They say to follow blindly, but I won't lose my way,
I've got a fire inside me, and it's burning bright today.

Verse 2
I've walked through darkest valleys, faced the storms and raging seas,
I've questioned all the whispers, found the strength to just believe.
The journey's never easy, but it's mine and mine alone,
With every step I’m taking, I’m making my way home.

Chorus
Stay true, stay strong, let your light shine on,
Don't let the world decide where you belong.
Be bold, be brave, in every step you take,
Trust in yourself, it's the path you make.

Verse 3
Voices try to sway me, pulling strings to break my stride,
But I've got dreams worth chasing, and I'm holding them with pride.
Each moment is a lesson, every fall a chance to rise,
I'll keep my spirit soaring, reaching for the skies.

Chorus
Stay true, stay strong, let your light shine on,
Don't let the world decide where you belong.
Be bold, be brave, in every step you take,
Trust in yourself, it's the path you make.

Bridge
When the night is dark and cold, and doubt is creeping in,
Remember you're the hero of the story deep within.
Your heart's a beating compass, it will never lead you wrong,
Believe in who you are, and you'll find where you belong.

Chorus
Stay true, stay strong, let your light shine on,
Don't let the world decide where you belong.
Be bold, be brave, in every step you take,
Trust in yourself, it's the path you make.

Chorus
Stay true, stay strong, let your light shine on,
Don't let the world decide where you belong.
Be bold, be brave, in every step you take,
Trust in yourself, it's the path you make.

Fresh off my pen… latest musings

Her Vengence (as the bell tolled)
(c) 2024 Sunday’s Muse Music

Verse 1:
In a quiet town where shadows fall,
She walked with grace, a mystery to all.
He promised love, but lies did weave,
Left her heart in a web of deceit.

Verse 2:
She found him there with another's hand,
Betrayed by the one she thought a man.
Her tears turned cold, her mind grew dark,
In her heart, she ignited a spark.

Chorus:
She sang her vengeful song, in the dead of night,
With a heart full of rage, she’d make it right.
No forgiveness found in her broken soul,
Her love turned to ashes, as the bell tolled.

Verse 3:
She followed him down a twisted road,
With silent steps, her fury flowed.
A knife in hand, a plan in mind,
To leave his betrayal far behind.

Chorus:
She sang her vengeful song, in the dead of night,
With a heart full of rage, she’d make it right.
No forgiveness found in her broken soul,
Her love turned to ashes, as the bell tolled.

Bridge:
Under the moon's cold, watchful eye,
She whispered his name as he started to cry.
No escape from the fate he sealed,
In her grasp, his end revealed.

Chorus:
She sang her vengeful song, in the dead of night,
With a heart full of rage, she’d make it right.
No forgiveness found in her broken soul,
Her love turned to ashes, as the bell tolled.

“HER”

In her being, a tranquil river flows,
Each moment with her, my spirit glows.
Her presence like a gentle breeze,
In her embrace, my soul finds ease.

With every look, I’m calm, serene,
Her essence paints a peaceful scene.
Her touch, a whisper soft and kind,
In her embrace, my peace of mind.

Her soul, a beacon in the night,
Guiding me to a place of light.
With her, I'm wrapped in calm release,
In her embrace, I find inner peace.

“Gone”

In the mire of life, we found our stride,
Side by side, our thoughts confide.
Like a sudden gust, you turned away,
Frightened by shadows in the fray.

Laughter once flowed, a shared delight,
But fear's cold grip dimmed our light.
Now gone away, seeking refuge afar,
Leaving behind a once-bright star.

Yet in the fading echoes of what could be,
Lessons learned, and eyes that see.
Letting feelings in, courage was found,
All now faded, without a sound.

“Endless Embrace”

In the river's gentle flow, ultimate rest,
Embraced by dark waters, fore’er blessed.
Elusive sleep, tranquil dreams,
Where worries fade, and peace gleams

Longing for that comforting embrace,
Drift along in the tranquil grace.
‘neath the moon's soft and silvery glow,
In the river's depths, let serenity flow.

No cares or burdens shall weigh thee down,
Just the soothing murmur of water's sound.
In this eternal dance with the river deep,
Total surrender to endless sleep.

“River’s Embrace”

In the river's midnight song,
Longing to be where I belong.
Its depths, a sanctuary of silent black,
Whispers of a solace I lack.

Along the banks, shadows slither,
Inviting me to silently slip and wither.
But within the dark, a longing takes flight,
To vanish in its embrace, out of sight.

Beneath the surface, where peace may dwell,
Lost in the depths, where silence swells.
So I ponder the plunge, the depths allure,
To disappear in the river's embrace so pure.

“Requiem for Earth”

In meadows hushed, where once life's symphony rang,
Dying trees stand, their leaves void of life’s song they sang.
Oil-stained waters, a toxic canvas unfurled,
Nature's beauty marred, from what humanity hurled.

Skies, once a canvas of blue and gold,
Now veiled in smog, tales of a future yet told.
The plastic graveyard sprawls, a relentless tide,
Nature's plea now drowned, in the waste we abide.

Vanishing habitats, bulldozed dreams decay,
Silent witnesses as nature's children stray.
Poisoned rivers weave a tale of despair,
Our lifeblood tainted, an ecosystem laid bare.

Barren landscapes bear the cost we reap,
Deforestation's scars, a promise to keep.
In this symphony of damage, Mother Nature weeps,
A requiem for Earth, as humanity sleeps.
