POV: when I have an infection vs. when I don’t!

I don’t know about you but if my yoni doesn’t feel good,
I don’t feel good.

I’m not happy, I’m uncomfortable, I’m stressed and anxious, it’s all I can think about, I feel like I’ve lost my mojo, I don’t feel like my s*xy, sensual self, my vibe is low, and I don’t show up as my best self in any area of my life.

I just want to stay in bed and hide from everyone until it goes away.

But when my yoni does feel good, I show up in the world so much differently.

I’m confident, radiant, happy, energetic, positive,
h😈rny, and magnetic with my juicy, sensual, feminine, flirty energy that people are naturally attracted to!

It’s a VERY different vibe.

And I want to remind you that if your recurring 🐈 infections are starting to negatively affect your life…

it’s time to STOP AVOIDING THE WORK YOU KNOW YOU NEED TO DO.

It’s time to work with me!

I can help you IN SO MANY WAYS, I’ve learned to manage my once-recurring infections and I can help you too.

I’ve got 4 different online programs and guides to give you the tools and knowledge to make it EASY for you to do.

I work 1:1 with people who need personal support and someone to talk to WHO GETS IT.

I have a NEW HSV support community where I do monthly group support calls to help people feel supported in their diagnosis.

I work with many different supplements and yoni-friendly brands to give you discounts on some of my fave products that have helped me.

You can find all the links to all of my resources in the LINK IN MY BIO, and if you are interested in working with me, DM ME and we can chat more about how I can help you go from the first pic, to the second pic ☺️

Thanks for the 📸’s ♥️

Stress is the # 1 trigger of chronic va**nal infections👇🏼

Chronic, long-term stress has been the trigger of my candida overgrowth when I was going through a massively stressful life-change 5 years ago, and my 3-year phase of recurring herpes outbreaks when I was going through nutrition school.

If you read through the slides of this post, you may notice a common theme - CORTISOL.

When you are chronically stressed, your body releases Cortisol - the stress hormone that creates absolute chaos in the body if there’s too much of it.

Too much Cortisol can cause:
➡️Inflammation
➡️Hormone imbalances
➡️Blood sugar imbalances
➡️Weaken your immune system

These things can cause chronic va**nal infections like:
🚩yeast infections
🚩BV & UTI’s
🚩candida overgrowth
🚩herpes outbreaks
🚩persistent HPV infection
🚩Vulvodynia
🚩lichen sclerosus
and more!

If you’re getting any of these infections, especially if they are happening 4 or more times/year, you have to learn how to manage your stress.

Your diet is equally as important as it can support your body and bring it back to a healthy balance by reducing inflammation, balancing your blood sugar levels and your hormones, and strengthening your immune system.

If you are STRESSED OUT and you’re struggling with any of the chronic va**nal infections I mentioned above, LET ME HELP YOU!!

I can provide you with SOLUTIONS to help you learn how you can manage and prevent these infections like I have!

DM ME with I’M READY and we can chat more about how I can help you.

June makes me want to eat nothing but cool salads and fresh berries!

I think June might be one of my favourite yoni-friendly produce months.

I love all the gorgeous green veggies and low-GI berries that are good for your yoni health!

Here are the reasons why these fruits and veggies are good for your yoni and your gut too:

🥬They are low-starch and low-GI (meaning they’re low on the glycemic index scale, aka they’re low-sugar).

🍓They contain essential vitamins, nutrients and anti-oxidants that are beneficial for your yoni health.

🥦They are high in fibre which helps promote digestion and is good for your gut and va**nal microbiomes!

🧄And garlic is a natural anti-fungal, antimicrobial herb that is also good to eat regularly especially if you’re sensitive to yeast/BV infections.

There are so many different ways you can enjoy these foods and incorporate them into your daily healthy eating routine!

I’ve shared many yoni-friendly recipes throughout my IG that include many of these foods - feel free to scroll through to find out how I recommend eating them!

And if you are struggling with recurring va**nal infections like yeast infections, BV, UTIs, candida overgrowth, herpes outbreaks and HPV…

I can help you get to the ROOT CAUSE of these infections so you can enjoy your s*x life and feel confident in yourself again!

EAT MORE 🍉 - it’s good for your va**nal & s*xual health!

Watermelon is not just a yummy summer treat, it’s also known as “nature’s viagra”??

Watermelon is packed with antioxidants like lycopene and beta-carotene and amino acids like L-citrulline which can:

🍉improve blood flow and circulation
🍉boost your libido
🍉maintain hormone balance

These are the KEYS to a healthy s*x drive, and can support arousal and performance in both men AND women!

For men, enhanced blood flow makes erections firmer and longer-lasting.

It may help improve blood flow to your v***a, va**na, and cl*tor*s, which can help with or***ms and natural va**nal lubrication.

Watermelon can also help to promote relaxation and improve your mood with its natural sources of magnesium and potassium.

When you are relaxed, you can enjoy s*x more!

Another reason why watermelon is good for your s*xual health is because it has a high water content - helps to keep you hydrated and improves va**nal lubrication!

It’s also an excellent source of natural electrolytes and can even help workout performance.

There are many benefits to eating watermelon, especially to cool off on a hot summers’ day!

Just make sure to enjoy it in moderation because it does have a lot of sugar, approx. 17g of sugar per slice (and for my yeast/BV/candida-sensitive babes, be careful that you’re not eating too much!).

And if you are struggling with recurring va**nal infections like yeast infections, BV, UTIs, candida overgrowth, herpes outbreaks and HPV, I can help you get to the ROOT CAUSE of these infections so you can enjoy your s*x life and feel confident in yourself again!

When you want to learn more about how I can help you, DM ME with “I’M READY” and we can chat more!

lol I think we’ve all been here…

Everyone’s eager to hook up and have s*x, especially when s*x is so fluid and easy (and everyone is so hot!) these days.

But when it comes to getting tested for STIs, getting a Pap smear, or confronting their s*xual health in any way, they AVOID it like the plague.

They would rather not know their s*xual health status, because of FEAR and SHAME.

They avoid talking about s*x or having s*xual health conversations with their partners because it’s “uncomfortable “.

They’re afraid to get tested because of PTSD from a previous STI diagnosis, or their doctor shaming them when they were diagnosed.

Yet they’re comfortable inviting someone into their bodies, exchanging bodily fluids, faces in each other’s gennies, easily forgetting some of the risks that having s*x brings (which are STIs!)

As your va**nal and s*xual health fairy godmother, we need to do better, especially as women.

It’s empowering to be in touch with your s*xuality and stay on top of your s*xual and va**nal health.

Men don’t often get tested because of shame, fear, discomfort, etc., so it’s up to us to make sure that we are protecting our precious va**nas!

STIs are very common, often asymptomatic, and some can result in longer-term health issues if you don’t treat them in time.

So don’t be afraid to get tested for STIs because YOU ARE DOING YOURSELF A FAVOUR by staying on top of it!

And if you’re scared to get tested because of PTSD from a previous HPV or herpes diagnosis, I can help you feel confident in your diagnosis so that it no longer has control over you, you have control over IT.

Pregnancy & Post-partum Recurring YEAST INFECTIONS - WHY they happening ⬇️

Many women experience recurring yeast infections during pregnancy and after they have their babies.

These yeast infections show up va**nally, orally (oral thrush), and often on their ni***es when they are breastfeeding.

A yeast infection of the ni**le can easily be transferred to the babies mouth when breastfeeding causing oral thrush in your baby, and can then be transferred back to your ni**le.

This can be painful, uncomfortable, and inconvenient for both mum and baby!

For most women who experience CHRONIC yeast infections during pregnancy/post-partum, these are signs of CANDIDA OVERGROWTH.

If you want to learn more about some of the other common va**nal and non-va**nal signs of candida overgrowth, take a look at my previous Candida posts, or read about it on my blog on my website!

The reason why yeast infections and candida overgrowth is common in new mum’s is because of the changes that happen in the body during/after pregnancy:

▫️Hormonal changes - particularly with the high levels of estrogen during/after pregnancy.

▫️Va**nal pH & flora - hormonal changes and stress can cause an imbalance in va**nal pH levels which are meant to protect you against infection.

▫️Diet - eating more starches, sugar, carbs, and inflammatory foods that you normally would because of cravings and you’re eating for 2!

▫️Stress/sleep - being a new parent is HARD WORK. Your sleep routine is totally thrown off and your life changes overnight. This can cause a lot of stress on the body, triggering these candida/yeast flare-ups!

If you are pregnant or are post-partum and are struggling with this, there are lots of things you can do with your diet and lifestyle to manage these yeast infections/candida overgrowth and prevent it from coming back.

I don’t recommend doing a full candida, but there are some adjustments you can make to your diet and lifestyle.

And this is where I can help!

If you’re interested in learning more, DM ME and we can chat more about how I can help you 💗

When you eat for your 🐈, you’ll notice how delicious she is!

Especially when you start experiencing:

🌸less infections
👅a change in the way your 🐈 smells and tastes (for the better!)
💦an improvement in natural lubrication (hello, WAP!)
💪🏼stronger skin, minimizing tearing
💥an increased libido
⚡️increased energy
💁‍♀️a boost in your self-confidence!

How do you “eat for your 🐈” you ask?

For va**nal health MAINTENANCE, it’s about;

🥬Eating fresh, good-quality, whole foods.
🍋Eating the rainbow of fruits and vegetables.
🐟Eating quality sources of lean protein - a mix of plant & animal protein.
🫘Eating good sources of fibre.
💧Drinking A TON of water.
🫚Including natural herbs and spices in my diet.
🍷Enjoying alcohol in moderation.
🍕Enjoying your favourite treats in moderation.

A simple rule - if it grows, EAT IT! If it doesn’t grow, enjoy in moderation!

I like to follow the 80/20 rule - 80% clean eating and 20% enjoy your life.

This is how I to eat to MAINTAIN my va**nal health and prevent infections from coming back.

If you are getting recurring va**nal infections like:

🚩Yeast infections
🚩Bacterial vaginosis
🚩Urinary Tract Infections
🚩HPV infections
🚩Herpes outbreaks

And they’re coming back 4 or more times/year…

➡️you need a more specific approach with your diet and lifestyle to heal the ROOT CAUSE of these infections first, which goes above and beyond eating for va**nal health maintenance.

And this is where I can help you!

If you are struggling with any of these infections and you need my help - DM ME and we can chat more about how I can help you get rid of them so you can enjoy your life again!

Just one more reason why you should join the GROUP CANDIDA CLEANSE.

If you’ve been on the fence about it, this is your sign to DO IT!

Since working with this client one year ago, she told me that not only have her recurrent yeast infections gone away,

✨her MINDSET around her va**na, her body, and her s*x life have significantly improved too!✨

Which for her, as someone who has a history of depression and anxiety around her va**nal health, is HUGE!

She recently got married and got strep throat on her wedding night (ugh poor thing), and had to go on antibiotics (as you can see on the last slide).

But instead of stressing and worrying about getting another infection, especially post-antibiotics and lots of honeymoon s*x, swimming in pools, etc., she handled it SO much better mentally, AND, she didn’t get an infection!

Once you get to the ROOT CAUSE of your recurring infections, and have support while you go through it, not only will your infections get better but so will your MINDSET, the relationship with your body AND your va**na will improve too!

And THAT’S how you get rid of your infections.
And improve the quality of your life too!

I still have a few spots in my SPRING GROUP CANDIDA CLEANSE which starts next week.

Take advantage of it now because I’m not doing a group program again until January.

You can find the LINK IN MY BIO or DM ME for more info!

But if the group program doesn’t fall in your budget/timeline, you can always sign up to the SELF-GUIDED FCK CANDIDA program (link in bio).

And I’m here to support you if you need it!

👏If you’re struggling with recurring infections, it’s time to take your power back.👏

READ THIS if you’re getting recurring infections AROUND YOUR PERIOD 🩸⬇️

This is REALLY common - I get so many women asking me what to do when they get recurring infections like BV, yeast, UTI infections, and herpes outbreaks around their period.

If this is happening to you, it’s important to know about THE LUTEAL PHASE of your menstrual cycle and how crucial it is to nourish your body to manage and prevent recurring infections when they’re happening around your period.

I’m an expert in helping people manage their RECURRING va**nal infections, because I have personal experience of managing my own MONTHLY yeast infections and herpes outbreaks before my period.

Here’s why this is happening:

🔺The hormonal changes during the luteal phase (drop of estrogen, rise in progesterone, changes in testosterone), can increase stress and inflammation in your body, weaken your immune system, and disrupt the healthy va**nal pH and flora levels.

🔺PMS symptoms can create stress, insomnia, depression, and anxiety, which suppresses your immune system, causes inflammation, and disrupts your va**nal microbiome.

🔺Increased carb & sugar cravings (thanks to ⬆️ levels of progesterone which ⬆️ after ovulation), can have you indulging in more “comfort foods”, which can cause inflammation, throw off your blood sugar, affect your va**nal microbiome/pH levels, weaken your immune system, affect your digestion, and detox pathways.

Learning HOW to nourish your body in all phases of your cycle, particularly the LUTEAL PHASE is KEY to managing your infections if they keep coming back around your period.

If you’re sick of dealing with these infections, I teach you all about what to do and HOW to do it, in all of my 4 online programs and guides!

When you’re ready to work with me, DM ME for more info on how I can help you!

Since I started my candida diet this week, these are all the things I’m doing to get my health back on track and I wanted to share them with you too!

These are all good things to do if you just need a general health reset after the holidays (or any time!), and ESPECIALLY if you’re sensitive to recurring va**nal infections.

This doesn’t have to be forever, but it’s good to do for 4-6 weeks if you’re feeling like you overdid it over the holidays and need a health reset.

Things to reduce/eliminate:

Sugar, gluten, and dairy, are the 3 main inflammatory foods and are the WORST things you can eat for your va**nal health. Sugar particularly - it feeds the bacterial and fungi in your gut, causing it to overgrow. This is just one of the things that can trigger yeast, BV, and UTI infections, candida overgrowth, and ge***al herpes outbreaks.

Alcohol - If you’re going to drink alcohol, try to stick to the clear ones like gin, vodka, and tequila, on their own or mixed with a low-sugar mixer like club soda, LaCroix, Perrier, etc. Or also try dry January like many people are right now! Many alcohols are fermented too which is not good if you’re sensitive to yeast infections. Alcohol is also one of the main triggers of herpes outbreaks in some people.

Coffee - a controverial one, with a few reasons why. Coffee can mess up your hormones, particularly your cortisol (stress hormone) levels and not great if you live with herpes! Coffee is prone to mould when it grows so if you’re doing a candida diet like me, coffee is a no no. Coffee is also acidic and can throw off your pH levels, which is important if you’re getting BV!

Processed, prepackaged foods and junk foods - ALWAYS read the ingredients list. If there are any ingredients you can’t pronounce, don’t buy it (or enjoy in moderation).

Things to do more of:

Eating whole, high-fiber foods - will help promote digestion and elimination which is essential for your gut and va**nal health. Plus you’re getting tons of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals!

Eating more protein and good fats are also essential for your gut and va**nal health.

And ALL the wellness practices are important too!

Why Your Va**na NEEDS ROUTINE ⬇️

As we all return back to our regularly scheduled lives after the whirlwind that is the holiday season, you may notice that you’re ready, and excited, to get back into your daily routine.

Especially if you are like me, and are wanting to get your diet, healthy habits, and lifestyle back on track for the new year.

In my years of doing the work to heal my once recurring va**nal infections and my mental and emotional health around it all, I’ve learned that both my body and va**na THRIVE ON ROUTINE.

I need consistency, familiarity, convenience, and ease.

I need a home environment that feels comfortable, peaceful, and safe.

I need to do all the things that make it easy and sustainable for me to adjust my routine and my lifestyle to prioritize my health.

Changing your routine & lifestyle to manage chronic va**nal infections like:
🔻Yeast infections
🔻Bacterial vaginosis
🔻UTIs
🔻Candida overgrowth
🔻Herpes outbreaks (oral & ge***al)
🔻and chronic HPV infections

It’s not just physical, but mental and emotional too.

Your body, your gut, your nervous system, your hormones, your immune system - all of the things that are connected to THE ROOT CAUSE of your recurring va**nal infections NEED routine.

That includes a routine with your diet. A sleep routine.
An exercise routine. A mindfulness and meditation routine.

All of these things are the things you should be prioritizing when you want to manage your va**nal infections, prevent them from coming back, and for general va**nal health maintenance.

But it can be hard to know where or how to start, when you don’t know what routine is right for you.

If you are struggling with the infections I mentioned above and need help learning what routine works best for you, especially with your diet, I can help!

DM ME with “I need help!” And we can chat more about all the ways I can help you.

As we approach 2024, I’ve been reflecting on how I can help my clients get the best results so that they can get rid of their recurring va**nal infections, feel confident in themselves, and enjoy their lives again without worrying about their va**na all the time!

Women who have really been going through it with their va**nal health, to the point where their recurring va**nal infections have significantly (negatively) impacted the quality of their lives, their s*x lives, their relationships, their self-confidence, and all other aspects of their lives, NEED QUALITY SUPPORT as they go through their va**nal healing journey (especially because they’ve been dealing with it alone for so long).

It’s not just the physical impact that these va**nal infections have on their lives, but it’s the emotional aspect of all of it too - it’s a BIG DEAL.

Most women, by the time they come to me, are DESPERATE for help, and need support because they don’t have the capacity to figure all of this stuff out on their own.

I’ve been through it all too and I’m PROOF that it WORKS.

Tis’ the season for holiday travel AND va**nal infections🙀

Many women are more sensitive to recurring infections like yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, UTIs, ge***al herpes outbreaks, and even cold sores too!, when they travel.

Traveling can be very exciting BUT very stressful, especially during the holidays!

When you’re not in your normal routine, not getting enough sleep, you’re eating and drinking things that you normally wouldn’t, your environment is different, you’re in a different time zone or climate, you’re around people all the time, etc.

These changes can be stressful on your body which can cause inflammation, weaken your immune system, and trigger va**nal infections (especially if you’re senstitive!).

I’ve learned to take good care of myself before and during my travels so that I can reduce my chances of getting an infection and enjoy my holiday!

Here are some of my top tips:

✅Take your immune-boosting supplements - vitamin C, B-complex, zinc, vitamin D - helps keep my immune system strong and healthy before and during travel.

✅Bring supplements & healthy foods - especially if you can’t get them in your new destination. My suitcase contains more supplements, powders, teas, nuts, seeds, quinoa, and healthy travel-friendly foods than clothes! Just make sure you do your research before to make sure you can bring in those foods to your new destination.

✅Get lots of sleep - time differences, jet lag, and lack of sleep can be detrimental to your va**nal health if you are in a sleep deficiency. Making sure you get lots of sleep before you travel, catch up with naps, limiting caffeine and alcohol, and not eating right before bed.

✅Stay Hydrated - traveling can be dehydrating on the body, especially on flights. Carry a bottle of water with you everywhere you go!

I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to some much needed time off over the holidays, and if you travel anywhere, I hope this helps! ♥️

Why Nutrition & Wellness Practices are Important to Women’s Sexual Health

We’ve all heard the saying, “You are what you eat”.

Everything that we put into our mouths (pun intended) AND our minds, influences our entire body and especially, our sexual health. Maintaining well-being through diet, nutrition and wellness practices is essential for feeling good in our bodies and our minds, therefore improving our overall sexual health.

A healthy diet and lifestyle can also be very healing relating to issues or distress within our sexual reproductive system that have been problematic.

When we nourish our bodies, minds and souls with goodness, we feel connected to our bodies and naturally feel happy, confident, and sexy. We radiate good vibes which can organically be very healing because when we feel good, it gets our juices flowing! When we are connected to this wholesomeness, our vibrance, vitality and sexual energy naturally kicks up into high-gear.
