NEW INCOME TAX SLABS for Financial year 2020-21
- 10% for income between Rs 5 lakh-7.5 lakh.
- 15% for income between Rs 7.5 lakh-10 lakh
- 20% for income between Rs 10-12.5 lakh
- 25% for income between Rs 12.5 -15 lakh
- 30% for income above Rs 15 lakh
Edit: this slab is applicable only if no tax exemptions claimed. Else there is no change is tax slabs.

I am Bhuvaneswaran from Tamilnadu. When I started to make my investments and Financial decisions, I found that there are a lot of myths in Personal Finance space. I have made some wrong choices in my personal Finance by following the advice of Personal bankers from reputed banks and brokerages. Most of the financial products are sold to people without sharing significant details about the products and without considering the suitability of the products.
Many people working as sales in Investment banking, banks and brokerage houses don’t have a clear idea about the investment or insurance plan. Then I realized that in Personal Finance there is a HUGE gap between the people and the investment. I made a decision to fill the gap in personal finance from my side. I started working with people who want to make their financial future better.
I have completed Certified Financial Planner certification which is a reputed certification in personal finance. I am from Engineering background and having good analytical skills. I can communicate in Tamil and English. I understand client’s needs clearly and help them as per needs.
