2024 CIRCLE REC BASKETBALL REGISTRATION

This sign up is for 1st-6th grade players. Circle Recreation is a member of the Walnut Valley
Basketball League and participation requires a commitment to travel. Teams will play half their games in their home Circle school, and the other half will be played out-of-town in surrounding communities of Butler County.

• Separate divisions for Boys and Girls in 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grades.
• Volunteer coaches teach the basic fundamentals of the game.
• Emphasize teamwork, good sportsmanship, skill-development, and FUN!!
• Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach.
• Practices are set to begin the week of November 27th.
• Games scheduled to begin Saturday, January 6th.
• Games are played on Saturdays at various locations throughout Butler County.
• Our goal is to limit the size of teams to 8 players per team.

This is a great fundraiser that helps Circle Booster Club support middle school and high school athletics and activities!

T-Ball is for children who are in pre-k or kindergarten this year and must be at least 4 years old to participate. If you sign up a child in pre-k it is encouraged that you help coach. Coaches and future Lady T-Birds. Join the Circle softball program for a weekend of learning and coaching of softball. On Friday, meet with the Circle staff and other softball coaches to discuss skills and drills for our youth players. On Saturday, the Circle Lady T-Birds will teach various skills and work with the future Lady T-Birds. The cost for the camp is $20 and includes a camp t-shirt. Coaches will be notified on November 15th and the coaches meeting and draft will take place in the evening of November 22nd. Time and location will be provided when you are notified that you are coaching.

Hello again! Efforts continue to create programs and opportunity for the students and constituents in our district continue. For the last few years volunteers have been discussing how to improve Circle Recreation and develop a program for our youth that is sustainable.
We are now coming to you to help us share information about the need for a Circle Recreation Commission to be created. In the next few weeks volunteers that have been supporting youth sports through the operation of Circle REC will be looking to gain signatures for a petition to bring this to a public vote. !!!ATTENTION T-BALL PARENTS!!!

Due to the recent wet weather and limited field space, we are a little behind schedule for t-ball this year. We are continuing to work with coaches to get parents notified of their child’s team and will continue to update everyone shortly, regarding new start days for practices. Teams will still get the same amount of games in, but they may be pushed back later than originally thought.

We are continuing to work through this but unfortunately are limited on volunteers and are also at the mercy of Mother Nature as well.
