ANTI-CYBER BULLYING CAMPAIGN CONTEST

1. Likes and reactions are both counted.
2. Only the number of likes and reactions in the actual photo will be counted.
3. The campaign will last only for two days. Likes and reactions are counted only from August 24-26, 2020, Monday to Wednesday until 12NN
4. Total score basis:
• 50% from the judges and
• 50% from the percentage of total number of likes/reactions of the actual photo.
5. Judges Criteria:

• Creativity - 25%
• Technique - 25%
• Overall Impact - 25%

DepEd hereby clarifies that such private or non-DepEd schools that have already started their classes, or are scheduled to start classes on August 24 or on other dates ahead of October 5, are allowed to proceed provided they are strictly using only distance learning modalities and that there are no face-to-face classes.

Did you know that a number of minor planets – or small bodies in the solar system such as asteroids – were named after Filipinos?

Three of these were named in honor of three high school learners who won in the 2017 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, California. Their project proved that the acacia bark is an effective organic insecticide against adult black rice bug.

The three girls from Davao City National High School were also the top winners during the 2017 National Science and Technology Fair!

Good Morning JCEANS! In line with the Celebration of Nutrition Month this year with the theme "Kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo... Push natin to!" we would like to encourage everyone to join the 1 WEEK VEGETABLE CHALLENGE 2019

Mechanics in joining:
1. All Students are encourage to Join.

2. From July 22 to 26, 2019 our school canteen will prepare 5 different Vegetable Dishes per day namely:
July 22, Monday - Ampalaya Salad
July 23, Tuesday - Chopsuey
July 24, Wednesday - Pakbet
July 25, Thursday - Dinengdeng
July 26, Friday - Monggo

3. Students who wants to join should eat in the School Canteen with the presence of their respective advisers.

4. Students should complete the 5 Days Vegetable Challenge by eating 1 whole serving of each vegetable dishes per day.

5. Completers will be determine by the class advisers using a rubrics and will received a SPECIAL PRICE and additional grades to MAPEH, HELE and TLE Subjects.

SHS Voucher Program application is extended to June 7.

The Online Voucher Application Portal will be reopened ‪from June 3 to June 7, 2019 to accept applications from incoming Grade 11 students in SY 2019-2020.

Applicants are advised to access OVAP.PEAC.ORG.PH to create an account, fill up the application form, and upload scanned copy of their complete supporting documents on or before June 7. Only complete applications will be processed.

The PEAC National Secretariat WILL NO LONGER accept manual applications at the PEAC office in Makati.

Results of the application will be released on June 24, 2019.

Grade 10 completers from public schools, LUCs and SUCs, as well as Grade 10 completers from private schools who are Education Service Contracting (ESC) program grantees, are automatically eligible for the SHS VP and do not need to apply. They may redeem the voucher by enrolling in private senior high schools granted permit by DepEd.
