CHIKITING BAKUNATION DRIVE SET NOV. 13-29: The City Government led by Mayor John Dalipe enjoins all parents and guardians to complete the regular childhood vaccination program of their children aged 0-23 months through the Department of Health’s Chikiting Bakunation, a regional intensified routine and catch-up immunization drive.

The Chikiting Bakunation seeks to reach out and cover children who have yet to receive their routine vaccinations or those who may have missed their scheduled doses.

Vaccinations to be administered will include the BCG vaccine, the Hepatitis B vaccine, the Pentavalent Vaccine, the OPV and IPV, and the MMR vaccine. These vaccines combat vaccine-preventable diseases such as polio, measles, and hepatitis B.
