Tuesday found us in Innsbruck Austria.
Friday took us up once again on a mountain peak, where we then had a nice hike down. This weekend the students will be spending time with their host families.
Apparently my posts from earlier in the week didn’t show up.
The last few days have been quite busy. We’ve been active in the classrooms working with the students and exploring the area.
Today the students were excited to travel to Garmisch-Partenkirchen to meet up with the friends and host families. It was wonderful to see their warm welcome as we got off the train.
Today was jam packed. We began with a tour of the Lenbachhaus, one of Munich’s fantastic art museums. Next we had lunch in Munich’s largest Biergarten. After lunch we had a tour of Schloß Nymphenburg, the summer residence of the Bavarian royal family. Finally we headed to the Englisch Garten to explore the ground and have dinner.
Today we visited Dachau, not a place one wants to post pictures of. We followed that up with a visit to the White Rose Foundation at the University of Munich. Here’s a few random photos of our day.
Today we had a tour of Munich’s Olympic Park (1972 Summer Games) and BMW Welt. Our tour was lead by Dr. Christoph Engels. We will see him again on Thursday for a tour through one of Munich’s well regarded art museums.
Es it's so weit.......
Bald beginnt der Austausch für 2018. Die

Here`s some video from the time spent at the high ropes course.
Hey first year Teilnehmer / participants, Herr Walsdorf had the pleasure of running into Ryan Miller last night. It brought back many great memories of you all!
Attention all American students,
We will meet tomorrow (Sunday) in front of the school at 11:45 a.m. to board the bus to the airport.

Also, you cannot bring liquids into the cabin. Liquids can however go in your checked bag.
See you then!
A number of us climbed the tower at the old city hall.
Tomorrow, Thursday we´re off to Innsbruck.
Bring your passport.
Meet at the Pausezimmer at 7:30 or 7:35. The train leaves at 8:02 with or without us (you).
We´ll be back in Garmisch-Partenkirchen Bahnhof at 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy the latest pictures. Our destination on Tuesday wasn`t condusive to photos but we had fun on the train!
