Humanity’s greatest need.

Humanity’s greatest need is not a social project, or power over oppressors, but forgiveness from sins.

“Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.”

Jesus is with you. Always.

Did you know this verse is about confronting a brother in Christ about their sin? It is not about prosperity. It’s not even about the presence of God. For if you are a believer the Spirit is ALWAYS with you. (Colossians 1)

First, in this verse, Jesus tells us how to approach Biblical confrontation:

“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭15‬-‭16‬

Then he concludes with the power of the Spirit in multiple believers.

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Unity.
As Christians we are called to unity with Believers. To non-believers we are called to Grace and Truth. You cannot be united to those at war with Christ, but you can and should share the Gospel with them.

Culture should not drive the church,

This begins with not fearing to proclaim the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Deny yourself and follow Christ.
