As President of Fitness Professionals Association, I am pleased to announce appointment of Mr. DEEPAK DESHMUKH as District President for JALGAON district.

Fitness Professionals across the country are facing hardships due to corona and this is the right time to organise ourselves to put our point of view to the Government.

Even after normalcy returns, it's an opportunity to support each other. Unlike trade associations and doctors body, the fitness professionals haven't been organised enough which explains the continued delay in securing our rights.

Fitness Professionals Association handed over a letter to His Excellency Hon. Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari Ji and requested to reopen gyms. I conveyed the financial problems faced by the professional and requested his intervention. 👇

राज्यपाल से मिलीं भाजपा प्रवक्ता श्वेता शालिनी। फिटनेस व्यवसायियों तथा जिम मालिकों के उद्धार का किया निश्चय।
सभी जिम फिर से खोलने में हस्तक्षेप करने का अनुरोध करने के लिए भजपा प्रवक्ता श्वेता शालिनी ने आज महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल महामहिम श्री भगत सिंह कोशियारी जी से मुलाकात की। वे प्रमुख फिटनेस व्यवसायियों तथा जिम मालिकों के साथ थीं।उन्होने अपनी विकट स्थिति का वर्णन राज्यपाल से किया।बड़ी संख्या में ये फिटनेस व्यवसायी और प्रशिक्षक मध्यमवर्ग के नागरिक हैं जिन्होंने
लॉक डाउन में पूर्ण बन्द होने के कारण अपनी आय के सभी रास्ते भी बन्द होते देखे।जिम मालिकों ने बतायाकि किस तरह बहुत से व्ययसायियो को अपना व्यवसाय बन्द करना पड़ा और कितने ही स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञों और प्रशिक्षकों को बेरोजगार होना पड़ा और इस कारण वे सभी आर्थिक दुर्दशा को झेल रहे हैं।
जैसा कि महाराष्ट्र ने फिर से मिशन के अनुसार चरणों में अनलॉक शुरू किया, और अंतिम चरण में सभी रेस्तरां खुल गए।दूसरी तरफ जिम मालिक और फिटनेस व्यवसायी दो समय की रोटी कमाने के लिए भी संघर्ष कर रहे हैं और सरकार उनकी इस बेहाली पेर आंखें मूंद कर बैठी है।
फिटनेसज़ प्रोफेशनल्स एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष शैलेश भा ,एम डी स्पोर्ट्स मेडिसिन के डॉ आतिब शेख ,क्रिसगेथिन जिम्स के ललित धर्माणी,जे एम के फिटनेस के रितेश शाह,निटरो फिटनेस के प्रबोध डावखरे,ओने अबोवे फिटनेसज़ के विश्वास शिंदे,बॉम्बे फिटनेस के अब बकर खान,एड्ज फिटनेसस के विराज करिए,जेवलिन फिटनेस के प्रवीण पांडव और फिटनेस एम्पायर के संदीप गोले इन सब ने प्रतिनिधि मंडल का हिस्सा गठित किया और राज्यपाल को फूलों का गुलदस्ता और अनुरोध पत्र सौंपे।
राज्यपाल से मिलने के पश्चात श्वेता शालिनी ने कहा कि," स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूक रहने वाले फिटनेस व्यवसायीयों पर भरोसा किया जा सकता है कि वे सोशल डिस्टनसिंग प्रोटोकोल का सख्ती से पालन करेंगे।इसके अतिरिक्त व्यायाम रोग प्रतिरोधक शक्ति बढ़ाकर कोविद 19 के विरुद्ध लडाई को सकारात्मक रूप से प्रभावित करेगा। इतने सारे लोगों की आजीविका दांव पर लगी है इस तथ्य को जानते हुए भी राज्य सरकार कोई उत्तर नही दे रही है।माननीय राज्यपाल ने जिम मालिकों की चिंताओं को सहानुभूति पूर्ण सुना और विचार करने के लिए हमारे अनुरोध लिए।"

फिटनेस प्रोफेशनल्स असोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष शैलेश भारते ने कहा," पिछले 6 महीनों से फिटनेस ट्रैनर ने बिना किसी अन्य आय के स्त्रोत के अपनी आजीविका खो दी है।अन्य व्यवसायियों की तरह हमारे लिये घर से या ऑनलाइन माध्यम से काम करना व्यावहारिक समाधान नही है, और लोग इस वैश्विक महामारी के जोखिम के कारण हमें बुलाने में संकोच करते हैं।इन सब बातों से हमने राज्यपाल को अवगत कराया है और Gyms को फिर से खोले जाने के लिए अनुरोध किया है।"

As President of Fitness Professionals Association, I met the Member of Parliament and Chief Spokesperson of Shiv Sena Shri Sanjay Raut Ji to request the State Government to reopen gyms in Maharashtra.

We conveyed the difficulties faced by Fitness Professionals and explained financial problems of Fitness experts and Gym owners.

I was accompanied by Dr. Ateeb, Lalit Dharmani of Kris Gethin Gym, Viraj Karia of Edge Fitness, Reema Pandit of DNA 360 & Nazir Kazi of Edge Fitness.

Hon.MP Sanjay Raut Ji has assured us to convey our problems to the Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra 🙏✨

BJP Spokesperson Shweta Shalini meets Governor. Takes up the cause of Fitness Professionals and Gym Owners.

BJP Spokesperson Shweta Shalini met the Governor of Maharashtra His Excellency Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari Ji today requesting for intervention in restarting the gyms. She was accompanied by leading fitness professionals, gym owners and association who explained the dire situation which professionals and owners find themselves in. A large number of professionals and trainers are middle class citizens who saw their income drain as lockdown compelled complete closure. Gym owners explained how they are bleeding financially due to closure forcing many of them to abandon the business and leaving trainers and health experts unemployed.

As Maharashtra unlocks in phases as per the Mission Begin Again, Restaurants have opened in what appears to be the final phases. Gym Owners and Fitness Professionals on the other hand are struggling to make ends meet and Government is turning a blind eye to their plight.

Shweta Shalini after meeting the Governor stated that " Fitness professionals being health conscious people can be relied upon to follow the social distancing protocols strictly. Moreover, exercise will only positively impact the fight against Covid-19 by boosting the immunity. The State Government isn't just responding to the fact that so many livelihoods are at stake. The Honorable Governor did a sympathetic listening to the concerns of Gym owners and has taken our request for consideration"

Shailesh Bharate, President of Fitness Professionals Association stated "It's been 6 months Fitness professionals have lost livelihood without any other source of income. Unlike other professions, Work-from-Home or Online medium isn't a practical solution and people are hesitant to call us due to the risk of pandemic. We have conveyed the same to Governor and requested for reopening of Gyms"
