The Major Arena Soccer League has announced a formal alignment and unification with the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) and current MASL 2 and MASL 3 divisions– in addition to the creation of the new Major Arena Soccer League Women – to bring most of North American indoor soccer together.

Coach Howard has been an assistant on our Men's team for several years and we are excited to have him in this new role. Congratulations Colin! Yesterday we got to join D1 Training Kalamazoo for their open house! We had a great time meeting and working alongside the D1 team. If you’re looking for top notch team or personal training make sure to check them out! Portage Soccer Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jake Puente as our new Director of Coaching and Player Development. Coach Jake has worked with nearly every demographic including youth clubs, high school, college, high-level amateur players & more. He coached with Houston Dynamo’s MLS academy in their U10-U12 Catalyst teams from 2019-2022, and most recently served as the head coach for the Kalamazoo United Men’s Semi-Pro Arena Team, a 2024 National Finalist.

Coach Jake will be taking over our U6-U8 Academy and establishing a player development pathway for our U9-U12 players.

We had so much fun at the Kalamazoo Public Schools Embracing Cultures Night at the Kalamazoo Growlers field Friday night! We had the opportunity to share our love for the game, try many different foods, play games with the community, hang out with Kzoo Public Safety, and enjoyed performances by all the different cultures within our community! 😍 KPS put on an amazing event and we are grateful for this opportunity. We appreciate the opportunity to become role models for kids and provide support to our community. Kalamazoo Public Safety The Kalamazoo Promise. We loved getting to hang with the footy community, Kalamazoo FC, and D7 Residential Exteriors last night! 🔥

Swing by Soccer Zone TONIGHT and join us, our amazing soccer family, and Kalamazoo FC in a night of footy and providing for our community! SoccerZone Portage/Oshtemo is hosting a free night of soccer and the cost to get in is donated items that we’ll be taking to Portage Community Center. PCC is accepting the following: laundry soap, dish soap, men’s and women’s personal hygiene items, non perishable food items, and baby items (diapers, formula, food, etc,). If you’d prefer a monetary donation that is ok as well- ALL proceeds will be going towards purchasing needed food and items for the community.

Let’s show out for our community! All ages are welcome- come alone or bring a squad. Don’t play soccer? That’s ok! Come out and hang out with us. Our goal is to create a culture and opportunity for respite for the hard workers and give back to those who gave so much to us!

Donation drop zone at Soccer Zone! They have started accepting donations today and are hosting a FREE open play on Friday from 5-8PM! Both KZOO & KU FC will be in attendance. The cost to get in: an item needed or a donation to purchase needed items! All ages are welcome and we encourage friends and families to attend.

Hey soccer lovers!! On Friday 5/10, 5-8PM, SoccerZone Portage/Oshtemo is hosting a free drop in to gather donations for Portage Community Center! The PCC is collecting donations to support those displaced by the tornados on 5/7. The entrance to the event is a donation of the following items (NEW/UNUSED: laundry soap, men/women hygiene products, dish soap, deodorants, soaps, shampoo etc) or a monetary donation that will be used to buy those items. Join us as we support our local community! Players will be out and about kicking it with yall. Come alone or bring your squad- everyone’s [all ages] welcome. Please feel free to invite your friends and family to enjoy some fun footy, rest, and respite. ❤️
