We are Chelmsford's first and only mobile social supermarket.

This project was established to provide affordable food and a sense of community for residents facing financial hardship.

Operating from multiple locations, the store serves as a vital resource for individuals and families affected by the cost of living crisis.

Yes, you have read they right! We are at Melbourne TWICE this week!

Summer holidays are upon us and we are off for the month of August and so as this is our last week we are offering people the chance to shop BOTH days.

Normally we only allow one shop per week but to help out a little bit heading into the holidays we are offering the opportunity to shop TWICE.

We are at Melbourne on Tuesday as normal 2-4pm and then we are back there on FRIDAY 3-4:30pm.

This is our last time here before the summer but don’t worry - we’re still around at Melbourne and Ford End until the end of July.

Some of the lovely fruit and veg on offer tomorrow at St Augustine’s in Springfield CM1 6GQ 11:30-1pm.

We will also have our Extras table which has ‘Extra’ treats for a minimal cost - cash only.

As ever a place to sit and have a drink and chat will be available too. We look forward to seeing you there.

Most weeks we are able to offer some kind of fresh fruit and veg. We never what we’re going to get so it’s always a lovely surprise!

Today at Ford End (12:30-2pm) we have satsumas, bananas, potatoes and tomatoes! Along with a generous helping of bread and sweet treats - all this alongside your normal shop for £5.
