Peace of Paper Designs creates beautiful ornaments, hangings, earrings, and magnets using pieces of paper. . . all kinds of paper!
The crane is a bird known in Japan as a symbol of long life, happiness, good health, and world Peace, thus the name Peace of Paper Designs.
Mother crane with 12 babies. Made from one sheet of washi paper slit to allow multiple cranes to be folded . . . mother crane in the middle, 3 baby cranes hanging from the mother crane's mouth, tail and wings. The Japanese washi paper is extremely strong and fibrous, otherwise the paper might rip and the babies would become detached.
Second day of this fabulous craft fair! 10:30-4:30. Come support our local crafts artists and get wonderful and unique gifts for yourself or your friends and family! I am bringing more peace cranes today, as yesterday's peace cranes are almost sold out.☮️

Miniature origami earrings, made from 1 1/4 inch squares of fibrous Japanese washi paper and accented with hanging beads. Triple-coated for gloss and protection. $20 a pair. Note that the short red ones are even smaller, made from 1 inch squares.
